God Almighty says: {On the Day when every soul will find present what good it has done, and whatever evil it has done, it will wish that there had been a long period of time between it and it, and God will warn you. Himself, and God is Compassionate to His servants * Say, “If you love God, then follow me. God will love you and forgive you your sins, and God is Forgiving.” Merciful…} [آل عمران: 30 – 32].
God Almighty says: {On the Day when every soul will find all the good it has done brought forth, and all the evil it has done, it will wish that there had been a long period of time between it and it, and God Himself will warn you. And God is compassionate to His servants. * Say, “If you love God, follow me. God will love you and forgive you your sins. And God is Forgiving and Merciful.” Obey God and the Messenger, but if they turn away, then God does not like the disbelievers.} [آل عمران: 30 – 32].
1- Proof of the Day of Resurrection, and its reckoning and reward; Because God Almighty says: {On the Day when every soul will find present whatever good it has done.} Verse.
2- Warning of the Day of Resurrection, reminding us of the greatness of deeds and horrors it brings, urging people to remember it and be mindful of it. Because God Almighty says: {On the Day when every soul will find present whatever good it has done.} Verse.
3- Every soul will be rewarded for what it has done, whether good or bad. Because God Almighty says: {On the Day when every soul will find present what good it has done and whatever evil it has done, it will wish that there was a long period of time between it and Him.}.
4- Every soul that has done good, little or much, will find it present on the Day of Resurrection, and will be happy and rejoiced. Because God Almighty says: {On the Day when every soul will find present whatever good it has done.}.
5- Doing evil deteriorates the person who does it immediately and in the end; Because God Almighty says: {And what evil she did}﴾So he called it bad; Because it makes its owner worse, and it may make others worse.
6- Every soul that has done evil will want on that day to get rid of it and stay away from it, even though it did not do it. Because God Almighty says: {And whatever evil she has done, she wishes that there were a long period of time between her and him.}, and that is far from it.
7- Counting all the deeds of the servants; Because bringing it to them and rewarding them for it requires counting it before that, and all of that is an indication of the perfection of God’s oversight – the Almighty – and the greatness of His power.
8- Encouragement to do good, little or much, and intimidation against doing evil, little or much.
9- God Almighty warns His servants Himself, His vengeance and punishment, and His painful punishment if they disobey Him and disobey Him. Because God Almighty says: {And God himself warns youThis is from His compassion – the Almighty – towards them, and that is why He followed it with the Almighty’s saying: {And God is compassionate to His servants}.
10- Proving the attribute of compassion to God – the Almighty – which is more specific than mercy, according to the Almighty’s saying: {And God is compassionate to His servants}, He – the Almighty – the One with great compassion, and His name is “Al-Ra’uf”, Glory be to Him.
11- The compassion of God – the Almighty – is general to all His servants, whether believers or unbelievers, whether they speak to them or their animals. Because God Almighty says: {And God is compassionate to His servants}, He is compassionate toward all of His servants, and His forbearance, mercy, and grace can encompass them. As God Almighty said: {Indeed, God is Kind and Merciful to people} [البقرة: 143]The servitude of all creation to God, in the general sense of servitude; Because God Almighty says: {And God is compassionate to His servants}, All creatures are servants of God – the Almighty – subject to His rule and universal destiny.
12- The Holy Qur’an combines encouragement and intimidation. Because God Almighty says: {And God Himself warns you, and God is Compassionate with His servants.}.
13- God Almighty commanded His Messenger, may God bless him and grant him peace, to challenge those who claim to love God Almighty by fulfilling what confirms their claim, which is following him, may God bless him and grant him peace. Because God Almighty says: {Say, “If you love God, then follow me.”}.
14- It is necessary for any claim to provide evidence for it, and in the hadith: “The proof is on the plaintiff, and the oath is on the one who denies»[1].
15- The just measure of the sincerity of a servant’s love for God – the Almighty – is following the Messenger, may God bless him and grant him peace. Whoever follows the Messenger, may God bless him and grant him peace, is a lover of God Almighty, and according to the strength of his following the Messenger, may God bless him and grant him peace, the strength of his love for God Almighty will be.
16- It is permissible to claim love for God provided that there is proof of that, which is following the Messenger, may God bless him and grant him peace. Because the challenge is in the verse and the denial is for those who claim that without evidence.
17- The love of God – the Almighty – is one of the greatest demands, to the point that even those who are not worthy of it aspire to it and claim it. Because God Almighty says: {Say, “If you love God, then follow me.”}.
18- One of the greatest methods of convicting a liar is to force him to do something that will confirm his claim. These people claimed to love God and were obligated to follow the Messenger, may God bless him and grant him peace, in order to confirm their claim.
19- Following the Messenger, may God bless him and grant him peace, is a reason for God’s love for the servant. Because God Almighty says: {So follow me, God will love you}.
20- The whole issue is in the love of God Almighty for the servant, not in the servant’s love for God. Because God Almighty says: {So follow me, God will love you}, and he did not say, “Love God,” even though they claimed that they love God. He commanded them to do what would be proof and reason for God’s love for them, which is to follow him, may God bless him and grant him peace, and it is undoubtedly evidence of their love for God Almighty.
21- Proving the servant’s love for God Almighty; Because God Almighty says: {Say, “If you love God, then follow me.”}, It is obligatory and belief is not valid without it, and it must be given priority over every loved one. God Almighty said: {And among the people are those who take equals besides God as equals to Him, loving them as they love God, but those who believe have greater love for God, even if the wrongdoers could see it when they saw it. The punishment is that all power belongs to God, and that God is severe in punishment.} [البقرة: 165]And the Almighty said: {O you who have believed, whoever among you turns away from his religion, God will bring a people whom He loves and who love Him, humiliating before the believers, who are dear to The unbelievers strive in the cause of God and do not fear the blame of the blamer. This is the bounty of God. He gives it to whom He wills, and God is All-encompassing, All-knowing.} [المائدة: 54].
It is necessary to love Him – the Almighty – for His own sake, and for the blessings He bestowed upon us, as God Almighty said: {And whatever blessing you have is from God, then when adversity befalls you, you resort to it.} [النحل: 53].
It is also necessary to love the Messenger, may God bless him and grant him peace. He, may God bless him and grant him peace, said: “None of you will believe until I am dearer to him than his father, his son, and all people»[2].
22- Proving love for God – the Almighty – as befits His majesty and greatness, and that He – the Almighty – loves those who follow the Messenger, may God bless him and grant him peace, with true love; Because God Almighty says: {So follow me, God will love you}.
23- The reward is of the same type as work. Whoever loves God and believes that by following the Messenger, may God bless him and grant him peace, God will love him. Because God Almighty says: {Say, “If you love God, then follow me, and God will love you.”}, but there is a difference between the two loves, for God’s love for the servant is greater, more sublime, more exalted, and higher.
24- Following the Messenger, may God bless him and grant him peace, is a reason for God Almighty to forgive sins. Because God Almighty says: {And He will forgive you your sins}.
25- The greatness of God’s grace and benevolence is His presence and benevolence, as He granted the followers of the Messenger, may God bless him and grant him peace, these two great benefits, which are His love – the Almighty – for the servant, and His forgiveness of his sins.
26- Proving the attribute of God Almighty’s wide forgiveness; Because God Almighty says: {And God is Forgiving and Merciful}; That is, he covers up the sin and overlooks it.
27- Proving the attribute of the vast mercy of God – the Almighty, the Almighty – an immutable intrinsic mercy for Him – the Almighty, the Majestic – and an actual mercy that He extends to whomever He wishes from among His creation. A general mercy for all creation, and a specific mercy for believers. Because he said {merciful}.
28- In coupling His forgiveness – the Almighty – with His mercy, it increases from perfection to perfection, as He combines for His servants forgiveness, by which the feared thing is removed, and mercy, by which the desired is achieved. We ask God Almighty for His bounty.
29- Responding to those who claim to be the saints of God, and call people to glorify them while contradicting the Messenger, may God bless him and grant him peace. God Almighty has spoken the truth: {Indeed, upon the guardians of God there is no fear, nor do they grieve. * Those who believe and fear God.} [يونس: 62، 63].
30- The obligation to obey God Almighty and His Messenger, may God bless him and grant him peace. Because God Almighty says: {Say, “Obey God and the Messenger.”}, and the speech began by saying: “Say” for care, attention, and emphasis.
31- Proving his message, may God bless him and grant him peace; Because God Almighty says: {And the Messenger}; That is: the familiar messenger in the mind, and he is Muhammad bin Abdullah, may God bless him and grant him peace.
32- Obedience to the Messenger, may God bless him and grant him peace, is obligatory in accordance with obedience to God Almighty, and it is obedience to God Almighty. Because God Almighty says: {Say, “Obey God and the Messenger.”}.
It is also necessary to obey Him independently in what He commands, which is not stated in the Holy Qur’an. Because God – the Almighty – commanded absolute obedience to Him, and this is confirmed by His Almighty saying: {And obey God and obey the Messenger and beware, for if you turn back, know that upon Our Messenger is the clear conveyance.} [المائدة: 92]And the Almighty said: {O you who have believed, obey God and obey the Messenger and those in authority among you. If you dispute about anything, refer it to God and the Messenger, if you are. You believe in God and the Last Day. That is better and a better interpretation.} [النساء: 59]by repeating the verb “obey.”
33- Responding to those who call for adopting the Qur’an and not the Sunnah, as he, may God’s prayers and peace be upon him, said: “Perhaps a man who is satiated on his couch says: Adhere to this Qur’an. Whatever you find of what is permissible in it, make it permissible, and whatever you find of what is forbidden in it, make it forbidden.“He, may God bless him and grant him peace, said: “Indeed, the Messenger of God forbade it just as God forbade it»[3].
God Almighty said: {And whatever the Messenger has given you, take it, and whatever he forbids you, abstain from it, and fear God. Indeed, God is severe in punishment.} [الحشر: 7]And the Almighty said: {With clear proofs and scriptures, and We have sent down to you the Reminder that you may make clear to the people what was revealed to them, and that they may reflect.} [النحل: 44].
34- It is permissible to attach the name of the Messenger, may God bless him and grant him peace, or to describe it after the name of God – the Almighty – in the chapter of obedience, with the letter waw, which requires associating partners; Because obedience to the Messenger, may God bless him and grant him peace, is obedience to God Almighty.
35- Whoever turns away from obedience to God and His Messenger, may God bless him and grant him peace, is an unbeliever. Because God Almighty says: {But if they turn away, then God does not like the disbelievers.}.
36- Denying the love of God Almighty from all unbelievers. Because God Almighty says: {But if they turn away, then God does not like the disbelievers.}.
37- The reason why He – the Almighty – does not love the unbelievers is their disbelief.
38- Proving the love of God Almighty for believers. According to the meaning of the Almighty’s saying: {But if they turn away, then God does not like the disbelievers.}, The meaning of the verse is His love – the Almighty – for the believers, as the Almighty said: {O you who have believed, whoever among you turns away from his religion, God will bring a people whom He loves and who love Him, humiliating before the believers, who are dear to The unbelievers strive in the cause of God and do not fear the blame of the blamer. This is the bounty of God. He gives it to whom He wills, and God is All-encompassing, All-knowing.} [المائدة: 54].
39- Warning against turning away from turning away from obedience to God Almighty and His Messenger, may God bless him and grant him peace. Because God has ordained disbelief and lack of love for that – the Almighty – and that is a herald of His wrath and torment, as God Almighty said: {When they made us sorry, we took revenge on them and drowned them all.} [الزخرف: 55]And the Almighty said: {O you who have believed, do not say, “Our Shepherd,” but say, “Look, Us, and listen.” And for the disbelievers is a painful punishment.} [البقرة: 104].
