The importance and necessity of work
the introduction:
In the past sermon, we talked about the importance of a person to have a goal in life; The Muslim was only created for an end, and only lived for a goal; The Almighty said:﴿ Do you think that we created you in vain, and that you are not returned to us * So God Almighty is the truth ﴾ [المؤمنون: 115، 116]And the Almighty said:﴿ And I did not create jinn and mankind except to worship * What I want from them is a livelihood, and what I want to feed * God is the sustenance of the two powerful power ﴾ [الذاريات: 56 – 58].
The question: Is this end sufficient? Is it sufficient for the goal?
The answer: It is necessary to work, a goal without an incomplete work, and a goal without a minor diligence.
Working in Islam is an obligation obligatory, and intentions are not fulfilled without it, and goals are not achieved from others.
1- The constitution of work in Islam:
A verse in the Book of God is considered a constitution to work in Islam, and to defend a Muslim to practice and master work; The Almighty said:﴿ And say do so, and God will see your deeds, His Messenger, and the believers, and you will be returned to the world ﴾ [التوبة: 105].
In this verse, good meanings and blessed benefits:
Firstly: This verse came while talking about some of those who are against the Battle of Tabuk, who repented and regretted what they did:﴿ And others recognize their sins, mixing a good deed and another bad. * Take from their money a charity that purifies them and recommends them to them and prayed upon them, for your prayers are dwelling for them, and God is the most knowledgeable * Did they not know that God is accepting the repentance of His servants and taking charity and that God is the Most Merciful ﴾ [التوبة: 102 – 104][1].
Then the verse of the work comes:﴿ And say do so, and God will see your deeds, His Messenger, and the believers, and you will be returned to the world ﴾ [التوبة: 105].
Repentance without work is accused, and remorse without changing a false claim.
secondly: The call to work in the form of the order included Al -Adid:﴿ And say do so, and God will see your deeds, His Messenger, and the believers, and you will be returned to the world ﴾ [التوبة: 105]; That is, do whatever you want from deeds, your deeds are not hidden from God, and the day of reckoning will be presented to the Messenger and the believers, and you will return to God, and reward you with your deeds; It is good and good, and evil is evil[2].
Third: What is meant by working in the verse – besides his disclosure and his vision in the Hereafter – the apparent work that God sees, and his angels boast about it, and he sees the effect of hearing and obedience.
In the hadith narrated by Al -Bayhaqi in the people of faith, on the authority of Abu Huraira: The Messenger of God, may God bless him and grant him peace, said: ((God has angels – as well as the writers of the hands – they float on the way; He said: They say: No, by God, O Lord, what you have seen, and he says: How if they saw me? They say: If they saw it, they were more keen on it, and the greatest request for it, and he says: What they seek? I forgave them, and a king of angels says: There is so and not among them, but it came to a need..
And the Prophet, may God’s prayers and peace be upon him, rejoices the work of a Muslim, and he yearns for his vision:
Al -Bayhaqi narrated in the people of faith on the authority of Abu Hurairah: ((The Messenger of God, may God’s prayers and peace be upon him, came to the cemetery and said: Peace be upon you. Between my backs, I am anxious, not his horses do not know?.
And the testimony of the believer to work – comes from himself and others – he is happy, and makes him very happy:
The Almighty said:﴿ They fight them, God is tortured by your hands, and he shall them and support you, and heal the believing of the believing people * The anger of their hearts goes, and God repents for whom He wills, and God is a wise knowledge ﴾ [التوبة: 14، 15].
The Almighty said:﴿ And the believers and the believers, some of them are the guardians of some who are commanded by the well -known and forbid from the denial, and they will be blessed, and they will be blessed. And His Messenger, those who will have mercy on them, for God is dear, wise ﴾ [التوبة: 71].
Some of the predecessors said: “I wanted this creation obeyed God, and that my flesh was loaned to the regulations.”[3].
Omar bin Abdulaziz used to say: “I wish I worked in you with the Book of God and did it, and whenever I worked in a year, a member fell from me so that the last thing is my breath exit.”[4].
Fourth: Remember the hereafter the most important motivation to work:﴿ And say do so, and God will see your deeds, His Messenger, and the believers, and you will be returned to the world ﴾ [التوبة: 105].
It came in the work of Abu Shaybah, on the authority of Abdullah bin Masour, who said: ((The Messenger of God, may God’s prayers and peace be upon him, recited:﴿ Whoever wants God to guide him will explain his chest to Islam [الأنعام: 125]They said: O Messenger of God, and what is this explanation? He said: Nour is tossed in the heart; So the heart is given to him, he said: It was said: Is this an emirate known to it? He said: Yes, it was said: What is it? He said: Acting to the house of eternity, the circumvention of the vanity house, and the willingness to die before the death meeting)).
These are the most important benefits from this blessed verse; It is truly a constitution to work in Islam, and is a driving to exert effort and good diligence.
2- The Prophet, may God’s prayers and peace be upon him, encourages work and highlights his bounty:
In more than one hadith, our Holy Prophet, may God bless him and grant him peace, encourages work; Whether the work is pure worship; Like prayer, fasting, etc., the mother of life, which a Muslim enters, and helps him on the hardships and difficulties of life.
The Prophet, may God bless him and grant him peace, calls for the preservation of the works:
In the hadith agreed upon on the authority of Abdullah bin Amr bin Al -Aas, may God be pleased with them, he said: The Messenger of God, may God bless him and grant him peace, said to me: ((O Abdullah, do not like so -and -so;.
A Muslim narrated on the authority of Aisha, may God be pleased with her, who said: ((The Messenger of God, may God’s prayers and peace be upon him, if he missed the prayer from the night – was from pain or others – he prayed from the day twelve rak’ahs)).
And he, may God bless him and grant him peace, urges to eat from the work of the hand:
In the hadith agreed upon on the authority of Abu Hurairah, may God be pleased with him, he said: The Messenger of God, may God bless him and grant him peace, said: ((For one of you to put a package on his back, it is better for him to ask anyone, and he will give him or prevent him)).
Al -Bukhari narrated on the authority of Al -Miqdad bin Ma’ad, may God be pleased with him, on the authority of the Prophet, may God’s prayers and peace be upon him, who said: ((No one eats food, it is better than eating from the work of his hands, and the Prophet of God, may God bless him and grant him peace, was eating from the work of his hand)).
Working in Islam is obligatory, there is no attainment of the goal except with it, and there is no very access without it.
