Recalling the events of the story of the elephant owners, and standing with the meanings of the verses of the surah.
Introduction to the topic:
O Muslims, the servants of God, These are educational stances with Surat Al -Fil; It is Surat Makiya, and its number is five verses.
Surah is suitable for before, and beyond:
Before that, Surat Al -Hamza: You talk about the descriptions of those who lost: Hamza, Mazza, collecting money and number, calculates that his money has been immortalized.
And Surat Al -Fil: She talks about a model of those losers, who is Abraha who collected money, and tried to destroy the Kaaba; God Almighty destroyed him in this world.
And Surat Quraysh then: Remember the Quraysh of this grace; The blessing of the destruction of Abraha and his soldiers, and the blessing of security, where they were moving to the Levant and to Yemen in the winter and summer, and no one was exposed to them; The Almighty said:﴿ For a village * They have the joy of the winter and the fasting * Let them worship the Lord of this house * He who feared them from hunger and secured them from fear ﴾ [قريش: 1 – 4].
The topic of the surah:
Surat Al -Fil tells the story of the attempt of Abraha Al -Habashi Al -Ashram demolishing the Kaaba, and he was the owner of the greatest military force before the mission against the Arabs at that time, and the events of this story were forty years before the mission of the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him. That is, in the year in which he was born; As he was born fifty days after the events of the elephant owners.
And because people were not dating the numbers at that time, but dated the great events, and therefore this year was called the year of elephant.
It is proven that the Prophet, may God’s prayers and peace be upon him, was born in the year of the elephant, and as for the determination of a specific day, it is a dispute, and it is well known to the people that he was born on the twelfth day of Rabi` al -Awwal, and others said: He was born on the second day, and some of them said: On the eighth day, and Mubarak and may God have mercy on him mentioned: He was born on the ninth Monday of the month of Rabi` al -Awwal of the year of the elephant.
Hence, we know the mistake of those who say the legitimacy and the permissibility of celebrating the Prophet’s birthday, as this is a heresy and modernity; This is for two things:
Firstly: The determination of the day in which was born from the month of Rabi` al -Awwal is different from it among the people of the walk as we mentioned.
secondly: If we look at the history of this work and the beginning of its origin and its existence, then you do not see existence except in the fourth century AH, and before that in the preferred centuries, the century of the Companions and the followers and those who followed them from the followers of the followers, all of these did not happen to them nor in their time of these celebrations.
Rather, they were keen to follow up, and draw the footsteps of the Prophet, may God’s prayers and peace be upon him, and be careful with all caution against violating his Sunnah; This is Ibn Masoud, may God be pleased with him, says: “Follow and do not invent, for you have been enough.” Ibn Omar, may God be pleased with them, said: Praise be to God, and peace be upon the Messenger of God. [رواه الترمذي والحاكم، وحسنه الألباني].
This action, if we want to judge him until the Sunnah, we will find that he did not order the Prophet, may God’s prayers and peace be upon him, and he did not do it, nor none of his companions, nor the imams of the four schools of thought, and therefore we have judged him that he is from heresies and conversations, and whoever does it is a sinner, and he does not leave him.
As for the events of the story:
The people of the biography mention: Abraha was at that time from the princes of the Christians of Abyssinia on Yemen, and he built a church in Yemen he called: [القليس] They said: This is because of its height, because the beholder of it almost fell his hood from his head from the height of its construction, and decorated it and decorated it with gold and silver, to turn the people from the Sacred House of God, which the Arabs glorified and pilgrimage to him, as he wrote to the Najashi, the king of Abyssinia: I have built for you, O king, a church, and he did not build the same for a king who was before you, and I am not a mortar.
And in some news: That a man who is jealous of the Kaaba heard his article, so he went with a mind and defecated this church, and this action, if we want to judge him to our law, is forbidden from him, so we have forbidden the insulting of the gods of polytheists who worship him without God, even though it is invalid, so that they do not insult God Almighty, or insult his true religion; As the Almighty said:﴿ And do not curse those who call without God, and they will give God an enemy other than knowledge, as well What they were doing ﴾ [الأنعام: 108].
Some scholars also mentioned in their words about the etiquette of eliminating the need: to avoid the Churches of Christians, to fill the pretext; Lest they do so with our mosques.
Abraha heard the news, He got angry at that and swore to the house until he was destroyed, then he commanded Abyssinia and prepared and prepared, and used the elephants as the strongest weapon at that time, and when Abraha and his army arrived close to Makkah, he sent a man of Abyssinia whose name is: Al -Aswad Bin Mafsoud, on the front of his horses, and ordered him to raid the blessings of Quraysh, so the lions collected the money to him, Peace.
Then Abraha sent a man named: Hanata Al -Humairi to the people of Mecca, and he said to him: He asked about her sheriff, then he informed him that I did not come to fight, but I came to destroy this house, and ordered him to bring him to him, and that was Abdul Muttalib.
Abdul -Muttalib went to Abraha, and he said: O king, you have had camels for me, and he repeated it to me, and Abraha said to him: I liked me when I saw you, and I was asceticized in you when you spoke, he said: Why? He said: Do you speak to me in two hundred camels that I hit for you, and you leave a house that is your religion and the religion of your fathers. Abdel -Muttalib said his famous speech: I am the Lord of these camels, and the house has a Lord who will prevent him and protect him, and he replied to him his camel, then Abdul -Muttalib went to his people and ordered them to leave Mecca, and to disperse in the reefs and mountain heads, and he directed Abraha, his army and his elephant towards Mecca and prepared to enter.
When Abraha and his army arrived close to the Kaaba, God Almighty sent them a bird that throws them with stones from a deferred, so he did not suffer from one of them except he died at once or fate, either that he dies in his time, or that his members fall until he dies, so God destroyed them and made them all my soul; The Almighty said:﴿ Did you not see how your Lord did with the owners of the elephant * Did they not make their affection in misleading? * And send them a good man on them * Throwing them with a stone from a record * He made them as an eaten description ﴾ [الفيل: 1 – 5].
We ask God Almighty to support Islam and Muslims, and to rise the word religion.
The second sermon
Stops with the meanings of the verses:
O Muslims, the servants of God, The surah started with the question of the question, and it is known that the fence is ten types: the call, the praise, the supplication, the condition, the interrogation, the news, the cut letters, the matter, the department, and the explanation; It was opened by one surah, which is Surat Quraysh.
Saying: ﴿ Did you not see how your Lord did with the owners of the elephant ﴾ [الفيل: 1]And the speech of the Messenger, may God bless him and grant him peace, which is a general speech as well, that is: Did you not see what I did with the owners of the elephant?!
Saying: ﴿ Did they not make their affection in misleading? ﴾ [الفيل: 2]; That is, God made them seeking to demolish the Kaaba in waste and nullification, and they did not reach their goal, and they only destroyed themselves.
Thus, it is the fate of everyone who wants the plot of religion and its people; As God Almighty said:﴿ And the supplication of the disbelievers is only in a delusion ﴾ [غافر: 50]; And on the authority of Abu Musa, may God be pleased with him, that the Prophet, may God’s prayers and peace be upon him, said: “(God is to dictate to the oppressor, even if he took it, he did not escape, then he said: Then he read:﴿ Likewise, I take your Lord when he takes the villages, and it is the unjust. ﴾ [هود: 102])).
This verse teaches us: The perfection of the knowledge of God Almighty and his ability to take revenge on his enemies, and in this amusement for the nation on the injustice it is going through.
Saying: ﴿ And send them a good man on them ﴾ [الفيل: 3]; That is, separate groups follow each other.
For God Almighty is soldiers who do whatever He wills, and this increases the heart of certainty with the ability and greatness of God Almighty.
Saying: ﴿ Throwing them with a stone from a record ﴾ [الفيل: 4]; That is, from a solid, solid, steel clay, such as the stones that God Almighty rained on the people of Lot; As God Almighty said:﴿ When our command came, we made it a high ﴾ [هود: 82].
Ibn Katheer, may God have mercy on him, said: “With each bird, there are three stones that carry it: a stone in its beak, and a stone in his feet, such as chickpeas and lentils, do not affect anyone except perished.”
Ata bin Yasar, may God have mercy on him, said: “Not all of them were suffered in the current hour, but rather some of them perished quickly, and some of them made a member of a member who were fleeing, and Abraha was one of those who were falling as a member of a member.” Where they went out with them, he would fall into the fingertips, until they came to Sana’a, which is like the bird’s chick, until he died.
We learn from this verse: That he who did so is able to do so and more with his enemies than the Jews, and take revenge on the Messenger of God, may God bless him and grant him peace, but everything has for a sake and amount.
This is a sincere promise. As the Almighty said:﴿ God defends those who believe, that God does not love every disbelieving betrayal ﴾ [الحج: 38]And the Almighty said:﴿ And our word for our messengers has preceded our messengers. * They have the ones who are photographers * And our changer for them is the majority ﴾ [الصافات: 171 – 173]And the Almighty said:﴿ We will support our messengers and those who believe in this world ﴾ [غافر: 51].
Saying: ﴿ He made them as an eaten description ﴾ [الفيل: 5]; That is, he made them dry cultivation that remains after the harvest, or after the beasts eaten and then turn into a dung, and thus described them as a contempt for their affairs.
What the beasts of their feet were called is called a storm, and what the beasts ate and came out of their mouth called a storm, and what she brought out of its anus is called a storm, so God called them the three; Because some of them died directly, and some of them cut the parts of his body until he died.
And this verse learned: How God Almighty supports his religion and his forbidden home, no matter how small the trick of the believers, but believers should do what they can, to deserve victory.
And how God Almighty has the greatness and honor of Mecca, so everyone who wants it worse, then God Almighty has the lookout; As the Almighty said:﴿ And whoever responds in it with the wiped ﴾ [الحج: 25]This is the severe promise for those who have the intention of action, even if he did not, so how can he do?
We also learn how God Almighty prefers Quraysh; Where he repelled the owners of the elephant, destroyed them and destroyed them all.
And why did God destroy them? Until Quraysh settles in this place; Where she was threatened by unstable, and after this incident they became the protectors of the house, and the Arabs became afraid of them, and they were moving to the Levant and to Yemen in the winter and summer and no one was exposed to them; Therefore, the next surah remembered the Quraysh of this blessing:﴿ For a village * They have the joy of the winter and the fasting * Let them worship the Lord of this house * He who feared them from hunger and secured them from fear ﴾ [قريش: 1 – 4].
