Reading the Holy Quran
Praise be to God, who is unique in the majesty of His kingdom, united in the beauty of His power, strengthened by the height of His oneness, sanctified by the sublimity of His steadfastness, arrogant in Himself beyond the rivalry of every counterpart, and exalted in His purity above all finitude and insufficiency. He has the attributes that are specific to Him, and the verses that speak that He is not likened to His creation, and I bear witness that there is no god but God alone, with no partner, to Him. Sovereignty, to Him belongs all praise, and He has power over all things, a testimony that is certain of His monotheism, seeking protection from His good support.

I bear witness that our master, beloved, and intercessor, Muhammad, is the servant of God and His Messenger, the purest of His creation, and His beloved.
And upon his family and companions, and whoever follows his approach, adheres to his Sunnah, emulates his guidance, and follows them with righteousness until the Day of Judgment, and we are with them, O Most Merciful of the Merciful; As for what follows:
So, my dear reader, one of the treasures of the month of Ramadan is the treasury of treasures that contains the good things of this world and the hereafter. It is the Holy Qur’an by which nations are happy and peoples are advanced, and which contains pearls and jewels that are not valued in money.
The first gem: Read the Qur’an because it is healing:
The Holy Qur’an is the effective healing and beneficial medicine that God Almighty revealed to heal humanity from its physical and moral ailments and illnesses. God Almighty said: And We send down from the Qur’an that which is a healing and a mercy for the believers, and it does not increase the wrongdoers except in loss. ﴾ [الإسراء: 82]; Al-Bukhari narrated on the authority of Aisha, may God be pleased with her: That the Messenger of God, may God bless him and grant him peace, “when he complained, he would recite to himself the exorcists.” And he would blow his breath, and when his pain became severe, I would recite to him and wipe with his hand, hoping for its blessing.”[1].
The second step: Read the Qur’an because God Almighty relieves anxiety and removes anxiety through it:
Brothers of Islam, The Holy Qur’an is a cure and an effective medicine for worries and anxieties. If you are worried, you should read the Holy Qur’an. God Almighty will remove from you what worries you and relieve your distress. On the authority of Abdullah bin Masoud, he said: The Messenger of God, may God bless him and grant him peace, said: “No one has ever been afflicted with worry or sadness,” so he said: Oh God, I am your servant, the son of your servant, the son of your female slave, in your grip, my forelock in your hand, carrying out your ruling, your decree being just for me, I ask you By every name that is yours, by which you have named yourself, or which you have revealed to anyone in your book, or which you have taught to anyone of your creation, or which you have influenced in With You is the knowledge of the unseen, that You make the Qur’an the spring of my heart, the light of my chest, the remover of my sadness, the light of my sight, and the release of my worries. Unless it goes away, God Almighty He took away his worry and sadness and replaced it with joy.” He said: It was said: O Messenger of God, shall we not learn it? He said: “Yes, whoever heard it should learn it.”[2].
The third gem: Read the Qur’an because it is a reason for the descent of tranquility and the envelopment of mercy:
The Holy Qur’an, dear ones, is a reason for the calm of the soul, the descent of tranquility upon the servant, the overflow of mercy, the presence of angels, and remembrance of the divine presence. Imam Muslim narrated on the authority of Abu Hurairah, on the authority of the Prophet – may God bless him and grant him peace – who said: “No people have gathered in any of the houses of God reciting the Book of God.” And they discuss it among themselves, except that tranquility descends upon them, and mercy covers them, and angels surround them, and God remembers them among those with Him.”[3].
The fourth gem: I read the Qur’an so that it will be a light for me in this world and an asset for me in the afterlife:
Know, servants of God, that the Holy Qur’an is your light that illuminates the dark paths of life that have been darkened by desires, transgressions, and the abundance of bad deeds. The Muslim needs that light that reveals the truths of matters. Ibn Hibban narrated with a good chain of transmission on the authority of Abu Dharr – may God be pleased with him – who said: “I said: O Messenger of God, advise me. He said: You must fear God, for it is the beginning of all matters. I said: O Messenger of God, increase me. He said: You must recite the Qur’an, for it is a light for you on earth and a reserve for you in the heaven.”[4].
The fifth gem: I read the Qur’an so that my faith will increase:
Whoever wants to increase his faith day after day should follow the Book of God, as God Almighty said: And when His verses are recited to them, they increase their faith. ﴾ [الأنفال: 2]And God Almighty said: And when a surah is revealed, some of them say, “Which of you has this increased faith?” As for those who believe, it has increased their faith, and they are They rejoice ﴾ [التوبة: 124].
On the authority of Jundub bin Abdullah, he said: We were with the Prophet, may God bless him and grant him peace, while we were young boys. “So we learned faith before we learned The Qur’an, then we learned the Qur’an and increased our faith in it.”[5].
Al-Hazawra: Plural of Hazoor, which is a boy who is approaching puberty.
The sixth gem: I read the Qur’an so that I will not be written off as one of the heedless:
Nation of Islam, one of the fruits of reading the Holy Qur’an is that whoever recites ten verses of it in one night is not among the heedless; It was narrated on the authority of Abdullah bin Amr, may God be pleased with him, on the authority of the Messenger of God, may God bless him and grant him peace, that he said: “Whoever performs ten miracles will not be recorded as one of Those who are heedless, and whoever recites a hundred verses will be recorded as one of the obedient, and whoever recites a thousand verses will be recorded as one of the humble.”[6].
The seventh gem: I read the Qur’an until I obtain mountains of good deeds:
It was narrated on the authority of Abdullah bin Masoud, may God be pleased with him, who said: The Messenger of God, may God’s prayers and peace be upon him, said: “Whoever reads a letter from the Book of God will have a good deed, and a good deed is multiplied ten times as much. I do not say: Lam is a letter, but rather a thousand letters, and Laam is a letter. “and meem is a letter”[7].
The eighth jewel: Read the Qur’an because it is better than the world and what is in it:
If the people of the world are happy with their world, the people of positions are happy with their positions, and the people of wealth are happy with their money, then the bearer of the Qur’an should rejoice in the words of God, which cannot be compared to the world with all its fleeting enjoyments. Imam Muslim narrated on the authority of Abu Hurairah, who said: The Messenger of God, may God bless him and grant him peace, said: “Would any of you like, when he returns to his family, Can he find in it three fat, boney successions? We said: Yes. He said: Three verses that one of you recites in his prayer are better for him than three great, boney successions. “fat”[8]And Muslim narrated on the authority of Uqba bin Amir, who said: The Messenger of God, may God bless him and grant him peace, came out to us while we were in Suffah and said: “Which of you likes to go out in the morning every day? Bathan or Al-Aqeeq, and he brings from it two heaped she-camels without sin or severing family ties? We said: Yes, O Messenger of God. We all love that. He said: “Isn’t one of you going to the mosque in the morning and teaching or reading two verses from the Book of God that are better than two she-camels, and three she-camels are better?” He has three, and four are better for him than four, and their number of camels.”[9].
Buthan: A place in the city. Al-Kumaa: It is the great hump of a camel.
The ninth jewel: I read the Qur’an until many doors of goodness are opened for me:
On the authority of Abu Masoud that the Messenger of God, may God bless him and grant him peace, said: “Whoever recites the two verses from the end of Surat Al-Baqarah in one night, that is sufficient for him,” he said. Abd al-Rahman bin Yazid: Then I met Abu Masoud during Tawaf, and I asked him about him, and he told me that the Messenger of God, may God bless him and grant him peace, said: “Whoever recites… With the two verses from the end of Surah Al-Baqarah one night, that is sufficient for him.”[10].
The best people and the best people in the sight of God are the bearers of His Mighty Book. On the authority of Othman bin Affan, he said: The Messenger of God, may God bless him and grant him peace, said: “The best of you is the one who learned the Qur’an and taught it.”[11].
The Tenth Jewel: I read the Qur’an so that God – the Almighty – will love me and I will be one of His people:
Make your intention, my dear reader, to reach, through reading, the love of the revelation of the Most Merciful, Most Gracious, the Majestic, the Most Merciful. Imam Muslim narrated on the authority of Aisha – may God be pleased with her – that the Messenger of God – may God bless him and grant him peace – sent a man on a mission and he was reciting To his companions in their prayers with Say: He is God, One When they returned, they mentioned that to the Messenger of God – may God bless him and grant him peace – and he said: Ask him why he does that. So they asked him, and he said: Because it is an attribute of the Most Gracious. I love to recite it, so the Messenger of God – may God bless him and grant him peace – said, “Tell him that God loves him.” [12].
If God loves you, you will become His special companion, and you will become one of His family and His special ones. On the authority of Anas, he said: The Messenger of God, may God bless him and grant him peace, said: “Indeed, God has a family of people.” He said: It was said: Who are they, O Messenger of God? He said: “The people of the Qur’an are the people of God, and His chosen ones.”[13].
