It is authentically reported from him, peace and blessings of God be upon him, that he said: “The believer who mixes with people and is patient in the face of their harm is better than the believer who does not mix with people and is not patient in the face of their harm.”
In Shu’ab al-Iman, on the authority of the Commander of the Faithful, Omar, may God be pleased with him, he said: Stay away from what harms you, and stick to a good friend, whom you rarely find, and consult those who fear God Almighty in your affairs.
The meaning of the saying of the Commander of the Faithful, may God be pleased with him:
Quit what hurts you
What is purely harmful and harmful, religious or worldly
Its harm exceeds its benefit
And the two matters are not equal
And there
There is harm that must be tolerated and cannot be avoided
And some of it is desirable to bear.
The intention is that some of them cite the influence of Omar, may God be pleased with him
So he loses what he is due to be in contact with with the one whom it is obligatory to be in contact with and whose harm he bears
With someone whose combination is desirable and whose benefit prevails
He leaves a lot of good for the slightest harm
He repeats: Stay away from what hurts you
And put it in the wrong place
The lesson is the reward in the afterlife
Not just because of the whims and activities of souls.
It was authenticated from him, may God bless him and grant him peace
He said:
“The believer who mixes with people and is patient with their harm is better than the believer who does not mix with people and is not patient with their harm.».
How many believers are harmed in order to bring joy to others and benefit them, so that they attain the highest status.
