Excitement to Ramadan
Praise be to God, Most Merciful and Most Merciful of this world and the hereafter. His mercy encompasses everything, and His mercy precedes His wrath, and from His mercy, Glory be to Him, He has multiplied our rewards. The least reward a believer reaps for any good deed is ten good deeds. And God multiplies for whom He wills, and from His mercy, Glory be to Him, He is gracious to us by calling us to a season whose atmosphere is faith, its wages are doubled, and its reward is great. It is nothing but In a few hours and a few minutes, the gates of mercy and the gates of Paradise will be opened, the gates of Hell will be closed, and the devils will be chained and shackled. The month of Ramadan, O honorable ones, be filled with blessings. Because God Almighty said about it: The month of Ramadan in which the Qur’an was revealed ﴾ [البقرة: 185]On his greatest night, God Almighty sent him down all at once to the lowest heaven, and he was placed in the House of Glory, and that night was better than a thousand months in reward and reward. Al-Bukhari, may God Almighty have mercy on him, reported in his Sahih that the Prophet, may God’s prayers and peace be upon him, said: God Almighty says: Fasting is for me and I will reward it – meaning, I take charge of its reward, and I am alone. Knowing the amount of his reward, and the multiplication of his good deeds, so no one knows the reward that will result from him except me and the reason – he gives up his desire, eating and drinking for my sake – so no one knows about his fasting or even the sincerity of his fasting, except God alone, glory be to Him. In fasting, devotion to God Almighty is manifested in servitude to Him. Fasting, O believers, as God Almighty said, is a shield, protection, and a strong fortress from transgressions and sins in this world, and from Hell in the Hereafter. God Almighty called it the month of Ramadan. Because it ashes sins and burns them with righteous deeds. Oh, who has committed extravagance upon himself with sins and transgressions, and who has made his heart black with misdeeds and sins, the month of Ramadan is a golden opportunity for a new beginning with God Almighty, an opportunity to wash hearts of filth, purify souls of dirt, and cleanse chests of all filth. Our beloved Messenger, may God’s prayers and peace be upon him, said – as mentioned in the Two Sahihs -: ((Whoever fasts Ramadan out of faith and in the hope of seeking reward, his previous sins will be forgiven, and whoever prays Laylat Al-Qadr out of faith and in seeking reward, his previous sins will be forgiven))It is also stated in the two Sahihs: ((Whoever prays Ramadan out of faith and seeking reward, all his previous sins will be forgiven))Fasting the month of Ramadan and praying during its nights, sins are forgiven, in confirmation of our beloved Messenger, may God bless him and grant him peace, and in anticipation of this great reward. So, O servants of God, who does not aspire to the forgiveness of his sins! And do not complain, O Abdullah, if the smell of your mouth changes due to your empty stomach, for our beloved Messenger, may God bless him and grant him peace, says to you: ((And the scent of the mouth of a fasting person is better in the sight of God than the scent of musk)); Because it arises from the worship and obedience of God, and everything that arises from the worship and obedience of God is beloved by Him, Glory be to Him, so if the smell of his mouth in this world was unpleasant, on the Day of Resurrection it will be better than the smell of musk in terms of condition and reward.
O believers, The Prophet, may God’s prayers and peace be upon him, took a room in the mosque made of mats, and the Messenger of God, may God’s prayers and peace be upon him, prayed in it for nights – in the month of Ramadan – until people gathered to him, and then they lost his voice. One night, they thought that he had fallen asleep, so some of them cleared their throats to come out to them, and he said: What I saw of your doings continues to affect you, so much so that I fear that it will be written against you, even if it is written. You are responsible for what you have done. O people, pray in your homes, for the best prayer for a person to pray in his home is the obligatory prayer.
O believers, praying in prayer at home is best for men and women, but whoever knows about himself that he is too lazy to stand in his house, for the houses of God are open and their imams shout to stand, and their voices chant the recitation of the Qur’an. So whoever stands with the imam until he leaves, it is written for him to stand for a night, and this is from the grace of God Almighty upon His servants. You stand with the imam from the beginning of his prayer to stand until it ends. So, O servant of God, it is decreed for you to pray a full night, and from the grace of God Almighty upon us, O servants of God, in this holy month – as our beloved Messenger, may God bless him and grant him peace, said, is that Umrah in Ramadan is equivalent to a Hajj. O seeker of good, come forward, and O seeker of evil, fall short. For the oppressed, the deficient, the deprived, the loser, and the perishing – as our beloved Messenger, may God bless him and grant him peace, said – Whoever reaches Ramadan and has not been forgiven, God will keep him away. It is a season for worship and good deeds, and competing for good deeds, and hastening to God’s forgiveness. He is prevented from doing so by a preoccupation with obedience to disobedience, a preoccupation with the field of goodness with a world that is not worth anything, and a preoccupation with desires and pleasures that are pleasurable and pleasurable, from forbidden sight and impermissible hearing, which burdens the hearts to perform obedience, or even pleasure. With its spirituality.
O believers, The month of Ramadan is the month of fasting and prayers, remembrance, supplication, and reading the Qur’an. All of these acts of worship beautify the relationship with the Lord of creation, so you find comfort in servitude to God, Lord of the worlds, and through them you achieve humiliation, humiliation, and submission to Him, glory be to Him, so your heart is filled with faith, illumination, light, and joy. Therefore, the fasting person has two joys: joy when he breaks his fast with something. God has allowed him delicious food and drink at sunset every day, and joy when he meets his Lord, so he will be rewarded with great rewards and the best reward for his patience with food, drink, and sexual intercourse, so it will be called: O you who are among the people of fasting, enter Paradise through the gate of Al-Rayyan, which was designated for them and not for others.
O believers, If the heart is filled with the spirituality of faith with God Almighty, it must not be disturbed by transgression against a created being with all kinds of transgression. How can one accept transgression from a fasting person towards God Almighty who expects him to be cut off from some of the pleasures of the world and its permissible desires at a specific time, and not to count on his cut off from what God Almighty has forbidden, such as false speech and action, and cursing and cursing, for your beloved Messenger, may God bless him and grant him peace, said: ((If it is a day for one of you to fast, he should not be obscene or make noise. If anyone insults him or fights him, let him say: I am a fasting person.))Al-Sadiq Al-Maduq, may God bless him and grant him peace, said: ((Whoever does not give up false speech, acting on it, and ignorance, God has no need for him to give up his food and drink))If the relationship with God Almighty is good with a variety of acts of worship, and the relationship with people is good with good treatment and not transgressing against them, and by responding to abuse with kindness, then the piety intended by fasting has been achieved. Didn’t God Almighty say: ﴾ O you who have believed, decreed upon you is fasting as it was decreed upon those before you, that you may become righteous. ﴾ [البقرة: 183]So achieve the meanings of piety, O believers, be happy and congratulated on this month, ask forgiveness of your Lord, and repent to Him before its crescent moon sets, for the most complete thing with which it will be received is sincere repentance. So repent to your Lord and ask Him for forgiveness. Indeed, He is Forgiving and Merciful.
The second sermon
Longing for Ramadan:
Praise be to God, praise of those who are thankful, praise be to God, praise befitting the majesty of His face and the greatness of His power. Praise be to God, praise by which we hope for His mercy and seek refuge from His torment. Praise be to God as our Lord loves and is pleased. The most perfect prayers and peace be upon our Prophet, Messenger, role model, and master Muhammad, and upon all his family and companions. Now, O believers:
Ramadan is among the months like Joseph among his brothers. Just as Joseph was the most beloved of children to Jacob, so Ramadan is the most beloved of months to the Knower of the Unseen. His resting place, may it benefit us and be our intercessor on the Day of Judgment. Oh God, grant us the crescent of the month of Ramadan with security, faith, safety and Islam, a crescent of guidance and goodness.
Servants of God, Ramadan is short and does not tolerate negligence, and its arrival is a crossing that does not accept apathy, and whenever you are lazy, remember the words of God Almighty:
﴿ A few days ﴾ [البقرة: 184]God is God in turning to God, God is God in rushing to God, God is God in abandoning everything that distracts you from God, God is God in investing the hours and minutes of this month. If God Almighty gives you breezes that live out His lanterns, there are people who are deprived of them either by death, or by illness or incapacity, so thank God for your well-being, and thank God that you are fasting in the purest country in the world, and thank God Almighty that you are in A country where you live in safety and security. How many people have been deprived of it.
O believers, Our noble Messenger, the Messenger of Mercy, may God bless him and grant him peace, urged us to eat suhoor, and he, may God bless him and grant him peace, said: ((Eat suhoor, for there is a blessing in suhoor))And he, may God bless him and grant him peace, said: ((A separation between our fasting and the fasting of the People of the Book, those who eat magic))And he, may God bless him and grant him peace, said: ((People will remain well as long as they hasten to break the fast.))Al-Hakim narrated in his Mustadrak and Ibn Majah in his Sunan on the authority of Abdullah bin Amr bin Al-Aas, may God be pleased with them both, that the Prophet, may God bless him and grant him peace, said: ((When the fasting person breaks his fast, there is a supplication that will not be rejected. Ibn Abi Mulaika said: And I heard Abdullah bin Amr say when he breaks his fast: O God, I ask You, by Your mercy that encompasses all things, to forgive I have my sins)).
O believers who love your noble Messenger, Your Prophet, may God bless him and grant him peace, was the most generous of people, and he was the most generous in Ramadan, when Gabriel met him, and Gabriel, peace be upon him, would meet him every night of Ramadan and study with him. The Qur’an. The Messenger of God, may God bless him and grant him peace, is more generous with goodness than a blowing wind. He, may God bless him and grant him peace, said: ((Whoever breaks the fast for a fasting person, a reward similar to his reward will be recorded for him, except that the reward of the fasting person will not be diminished in the slightest))So, O believers, make your hands generous and generous towards the servants of God, whether the relatives, the poor, the people, or the visitors. You will reap great rewards. Pray for the guide who brings good news and the enlightening lamp. Whoever sends a blessing upon him, may God bless him ten times.
Oh God, let us reach Ramadan and the nation of Islam in glory, prosperity and empowerment. Oh God, make us reach Ramadan and the Muslims in health, well-being and safety. Oh God, make us reach Ramadan and help us in it to fast, pray, and recite the Qur’an. Oh God, make the Noble Qur’an the spring of our hearts, the light of our chests, the removal of our sorrows, and the departure of our worries and anxieties. Oh God, make it an intercessor and a proof. And guide us to the gardens of bliss. O God, grant us its recitation throughout the night and the ends of the day in a way that pleases You, guide us to the paths of peace, and bring us out of darkness into light.
Oh God, grant us success in what You love and are pleased with, and reward our guardian and his crown prince for the services they provide to the pilgrims and Umrah pilgrims and those who go to the Two Holy Mosques. My Lord, forgive us our sins and our ignorance, and our extravagance in all our affairs, and what You know better than us. Oh God, forgive us. Forgive us our sins, our intentionality, our ignorance, and our foolishness, and all of that is with me. O God, forgive us what we have put forward and what we have put back, what we have concealed and what we have made public. You are the one who gives precedence and you are the one who delays, and you are over everything. Almighty.
