The impact of family stability on human development
Praise be to God, Lord of the Worlds, praise that is sufficient for His blessings and rewards more. Praise be to God who made ourselves wives for us to find comfort in, and placed love and mercy between us, and made the Muslim home a paradise on earth for those who fear it and take care of it.
I bear witness that there is no god but God, alone, with no partner, the testimony of whoever believes in Him and trusts in Him, and I bear witness that Muhammad is His servant and Messenger, the purest of His creation and His friend. God sent him with guidance and the religion of truth, so he conveyed the message, fulfilled the trust, and advised the nation, and left us on the white pilgrimage whose night is like its day, and no one deviates from it except one who perishes.
May God’s blessings and peace be upon him and his family and companions, the people of honesty and brotherhood, and peace until the Day of Judgment. As for what follows:
So fear God Almighty with the right of piety, and observe Him in secret and in private conversations, and know that the best thing to occupy your time and spend your lives on is taking care of building the Muslim family and improving its life and stability, for it is the pillar of society, the base of its renaissance, the stronghold of security and security, and it is the first school in which heroes are raised and great people learn.
O Muslims:
The family in Islam is not just a relationship between a man and a woman for the sake of procreation and shared life only, but rather it is a worship, a divine mission, and a great divine responsibility. Do you not see how the Holy Qur’an calls the marriage contract a strong covenant? God Almighty said:And they took from you a solemn covenant(An-Nisa: 21) This indicates the newness, strength and sanctity of this relationship.
Islam came to raise the status of the family and to govern its construction on a solid foundation of faith, affection and mercy. One of the greatest purposes brought by Sharia law is the preservation of offspring, and this can only be achieved within a stable and secure family.
Dear brothers:
Consider – may God have mercy on you – His Almighty saying:And among His signs is that He created for you mates from among yourselves that you may find tranquility in them, and He placed between you affection and mercy.(Al-Rum: 21)This verse contains three foundations for family stability:
The first is:Housing and reassurance, so that each spouse finds in the other a home for his heart and comfort for himself. Housing is not only the home, but companionship, common concerns, and a single vision.
Second:Affection, which is excessive love, which drives spouses to sacrifice and be altruistic.
Third:Mercy, which is kindness, tenderness, forgiveness, and overlooking life’s shortcomings.
If these three qualities come together in a house, that house is a paradise on earth, where hearts are at peace and hearts are at peace.
O Muslims:
Our scholars – may God have mercy on them – have warned that family disintegration and disorder are the first precursors to the collapse of societies. A family that loses stability produces children who lack self-confidence, are worried about their future, are prone to aggression and violence, or, on the contrary, withdraw into themselves and are unable to deal with others.
In contrast to all of this, a stable family is the one that brings out into society strong men and virtuous women, and prepares good leaders, scientists, doctors, and engineers who benefit their nation.
How many great scholars through whom God has benefited the nation grew up under the care of a good mother and the care of a wise father who built his home on stability and tranquility!
Brothers:
Our holy religion has commanded us to choose a righteous wife and a good origin, and he, peace and blessings be upon him, said:((A woman is married for four reasons: her money, her lineage, her beauty, and her religion, so choose the woman who is religious, may your hands be blessed.))Religion is the foundation and the greatest guarantee for the stability of the home and the continuity of love.
When he commanded us to choose a righteous wife, he also commanded us to treat her well, and he, may God’s prayers and peace be upon him, said:((Treat women well, for they are your helpers))And he said:((The best of you is the best to his family, and I am the best to my family)).
His guidance, may God bless him and grant him peace, with his wives was the most perfect of guidance. He caressed them, comforted them, raced with them, helped them in the affairs of the house, was patient with whatever they did without harm, and was forgiving and forgiving. This is the role model.
O Muslims:
One of the greatest things that achieves family stability is establishing the Book of God and the Sunnah of His Messenger in the home, a house in which the Book of God is recited, in which His Most Beautiful Names are mentioned, and in which prayers are performed at their appointed times in congregation with the family when possible. This house is blessed with tranquility, surrounded by angels, and filled with blessings.
The opposite of that house, in which voices are raised with singing and musical instruments, and in which evil deeds are watched on screens, is a house of misery, bad omen, disintegration, and departure from obedience.
I say this, and I ask God Almighty for forgiveness for me, for you, and for all Muslims of every sin and sin, so seek His forgiveness. Indeed, He is the Forgiving, the Merciful.
The second sermon
Praise be to God, the Mighty, the Friendly, the Owner of the Kingdom and the Transformer of hearts and eyes. Praise be to God, who made the spouses tranquility, affection, and mercy, and created familiarity and cooperation between them in righteousness and piety.
May blessings and peace be upon the truthful and trustworthy, our Prophet Muhammad, whom God sent as a mercy to the worlds, and upon his family and companions, the people of truth and loyalty, and those who follow them in righteousness until the Day of Judgment. As for what follows:
So fear God – may God have mercy on you – in what He commands, and abstain from what He has forbidden and rebuked, and live well with your families, for the world is an enjoyment, and the best enjoyment in it is a righteous woman who makes you happy when you look, obeys you when you command, and protects you when you are absent.
People:
Know that family stability is not something that is forced, nor is it achieved through violence and tyranny. Rather, it is achieved through understanding and advice, through tolerance and forgiveness of sins, and through patience with mistakes and covering up faults.
He, peace and blessings be upon him, said:((A believing man should not be jealous of a believing woman; if he dislikes one of her characteristics, another will be pleased with her.)); This means that he should not hate her, for there is something that is disliked in her that is balanced by another beloved, so the husband should look at his wife’s positives and ignore some of the negatives, for perfection belongs to God alone.
I also say to the wife: O sister of Islam, treat your husband well, and know that obeying him without disobedience brings you closer to God, and that his satisfaction is the pleasure of God Almighty, and be the comfort of his eyes, and show him your joy in being close to him, and avoid your discord and stubbornness, for heaven is under the feet of those who are obedient to their husbands.
Parents:
You are the role model in the home. With the stability of yourselves and the wisdom of your actions, the house becomes stable, and with your turmoil and violence, the house becomes disturbed and disintegrates, so learn from your Prophet, may God bless him and grant him peace, how to be a good role model for your children.
I say to mothers: You are the first school, the warm nursery, and the beating heart of tenderness, so realize the fruit of patience with children and the effort of raising them, for the good of the child is your remaining reward after your departure.
Children who grow up in stable homes, where love and respect prevail, are more confident in themselves, better able to bear responsibility, and less aggressive and violent than others. Recent studies have proven that family disorder is the first cause of juvenile delinquency and their falling into the scourge of drugs and crimes.
O Muslims:
I advise you and myself to fear God in your captivity, for it is a trust on your shoulders and a responsibility that you will be asked about on the Day of Resurrection. May God bless him and grant him peace, he said:((Each of you is a shepherd, and each of you is responsible for his flock. The man is the shepherd of his household and is responsible for them, and the woman is the shepherd of her husband’s house and his children and is responsible for them)).
Let us treat people well, be patient, and be quick to forgive and abstain from hatred. How many homes have been destroyed because of a hurtful word or a ridiculous insult, and how many families have collapsed because of stubbornness and pride!
End your days with forgiveness, begin your nights with remembrance and supplication, and supplicate often with this great supplication:Our Lord, grant us from our wives and our offspring the comfort of our eyes and make us leaders for the righteous.(Al-Furqan: 74).
Congratulations to the one whose family was a small mosque in which he prayed, and an afterlife paradise in which he lived in this world before the afterlife, and woe then woe to the one whose house was a fire that burned his children, and a hell that melted the hearts of his wife.
Oh God, fix our families for us, fix our young men and women, prolong our days, O Generous One, bring peace between the hearts of our husbands, make our children the apple of our eyes, and make us leaders for the righteous.
This and pray for the Prophet, the guide, the bringer of news, the warner, as the Lord of the worlds has commanded you to do, and God Almighty said in His clear book:Indeed, God and His angels bless the Prophet. O you who have believed, bless him and grant him peace.(Al-Ahzab: 56).
O God, bless and bless Your servant and Messenger Muhammad, and upon all his family and companions, and upon the followers and those who follow them in goodness until the Day of Judgment.
Oh God, cherish Islam and Muslims, O God, grant victory to those who support religion, O God, let down those who let down Muslims, O God, destroy your enemies, the enemies of religion.
O God, grant us security in our role, improve our rulers, guide them to what is good for the country and the people, and make them a mercy upon the nation without harm.
Oh God, remove from us the high prices, the epidemic, usury, adultery, earthquakes, and temptations, whether apparent or hidden. Oh God, improve the conditions of Muslims everywhere.
Our Lord, give us good in this world, and good in the Hereafter, and protect us from the torment of the Fire.
May God’s blessings and peace be upon our Prophet Muhammad, his family and all his companions.
Praise be to God, Lord of the worlds.
