{"id":157552,"date":"2026-08-13T13:07:47","date_gmt":"2026-08-13T13:07:47","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/islamhudaa.com\/fr\/?p=24093"},"modified":"2026-08-13T13:07:47","modified_gmt":"2026-08-13T13:07:47","slug":"being-afflicted-with-legal-costs-sermon","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.islamhudaa.com\/en\/being-afflicted-with-legal-costs-sermon\/","title":{"rendered":"Being afflicted with legal costs (sermon) | ISLAMHUDAA "},"content":{"rendered":"<p><\/p>\n<div id=\"ArticleContent\">\n<div itemscope=\"\" itemtype=\"http:\/\/schema.org\/Article\"><span itemprop=\"articleBody\"><\/p>\n<h2 style=\"text-align: center;\"><span style=\"color: #0000ff;\"><strong>Being afflicted with legal costs<\/strong><\/span><\/h2>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Praise be to God, Lord of the worlds, and may blessings and peace be upon His Noble Messenger, and upon all his family and companions.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">As for what follows:<strong><span style=\"color: maroon;\">Assignment in language<\/span><\/strong>: From the cost, which is: hardship<a name=\"_ftnref1\" href=\"#_ftn1\" id=\"_ftnref1\">[1]<\/a>.<strong><span style=\"color: #000099;\">And the obligation in the law<\/span><\/strong>: It is an obligation that involves difficulty and cost. Only the obligatory and the forbidden are included within its limits.<strong>And it was said<\/strong>: It is a request that involves difficulty and cost. So, the obligatory and the recommended, the forbidden and the disliked are included within its limits.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><strong><span style=\"color: #000099;\">The mandate, then, is: the Lawgiver&rsquo;s address to those charged with a command or prohibition.<\/span><\/strong><a name=\"_ftnref2\" href=\"#_ftn2\" id=\"_ftnref2\">[2]<\/a>.<strong><span style=\"color: maroon;\">And the matter<\/span><\/strong>: It may be obligatory<a name=\"_ftnref3\" href=\"#_ftn3\" id=\"_ftnref3\">[3]<\/a>Or a representative<a name=\"_ftnref4\" href=\"#_ftn4\" id=\"_ftnref4\">[4]<\/a>.<strong><span style=\"color: maroon;\">And the prohibition<\/span><\/strong>: It may be forbidden<a name=\"_ftnref5\" href=\"#_ftn5\" id=\"_ftnref5\">[5]<\/a>Or hated<a name=\"_ftnref6\" href=\"#_ftn6\" id=\"_ftnref6\">[6]<\/a>. Through commands and prohibitions, the worship for which creation was created is achieved.<a name=\"_ftnref7\" href=\"#_ftn7\" id=\"_ftnref7\">[7]<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">What is meant by acts of worship is not the hardship and expense of the first intention &#8211; even if that occurs implicitly and consequentially in some of them; For reasons that necessitate this, the hardship in worship and the costs are a usual hardship.<a name=\"_ftnref8\" href=\"#_ftn8\" id=\"_ftnref8\">[8]<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><strong><span style=\"color: #000099;\">These commands and prohibitions that God tests His servants with are not for any benefit to Him, Glory be to Him.<\/span><\/strong>He only commanded them to do what would benefit them and benefit them in their livelihood and their future lives, and he forbade them from doing what would be harmful to them in their livelihood. And their appointed time, the wisdom of his trial is unique to them.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><strong><span style=\"color: maroon;\">And He, Glory be to Him, knows the deeds and conditions of His servants, and what they are heading to.<\/span><\/strong>&#8211; Before He created them and found them in the house of trial, then He brought them out there, sent His messengers to them, sent down His books, and began His laws, so He tested them with His commands and prohibitions, and with good and evil. So that His knowledge that He knew before would be revealed among them, so that they deserve praise or blame, reward or punishment, and God will excuse them. By establishing the argument against them<a name=\"_ftnref9\" href=\"#_ftn9\" id=\"_ftnref9\">[9]<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><strong><span style=\"color: #000099;\">God Almighty distinguishes between the believer and the unbeliever, the obedient and the disobedient, by trial.<\/span><\/strong>And the truthful and the liar, and whoever thanks Him and worships Him, and whoever rejects Him and turns away from Him, God Almighty said:<strong><span style=\"color: green;\">God would not leave the believers in what you are upon, until He distinguishes the evil from the good, and God would not make known to you the unseen, but God He chooses from among His messengers whom He wills<\/span><\/strong>(Al Imran: 179)<span style=\"color: #800000;\">Yes<\/span>: God would not leave the believers mixed with hypocrites and disbelievers until He distinguished between them; Because of the costs that he imposes, only true believers will respond to them, and in that case the believer will be known from others. If the costs were not what distinguishes between them, no one would be able to distinguish between them. Because it is from the unseen that cannot be accessed except through the Messengers of God to whom it is revealed.<a name=\"_ftnref10\" href=\"#_ftn10\" id=\"_ftnref10\">[10]<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><strong><span style=\"color: #000099;\">And He, Glory be to Him, knows His faithful servants with this test to reward them.<\/span><\/strong>; Even if God Almighty knew that before it happened, His justice and praise required that He does not reward the servants merely by His knowledge of them until&#8230; There is information about him, it is verified by them, and the penalty falls on him. As God Almighty said:<strong><span style=\"color: green;\">Or did you think that you would enter Paradise while God knows those among you who strive and knows those who are patient?<\/span><\/strong>(Al Imran: 142). (<span style=\"color: #800000;\">Yes<\/span>: You will not enter Paradise until you are tested, and God will see among you those who strive in His way and are patient in resisting the enemies.)<a name=\"_ftnref11\" href=\"#_ftn11\" id=\"_ftnref11\">[11]<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><strong><span style=\"color: maroon;\">There are many wisdoms and great goals that are achieved for believers. As a result of their undertaking the legitimate costs<\/span><\/strong>And their obedience to their Lord, and had it not been for this trial with these legal costs, it would not have been achieved.<strong><span style=\"color: #000099;\">Examples include:<\/span><\/strong>: God Almighty&rsquo;s saying:<strong><span style=\"color: green;\">And when his Lord tested Abraham with words, and he fulfilled them. He said, &ldquo;Indeed, I will make you a leader for the people.&rdquo; He said, &ldquo;And of my descendants.&rdquo; He said, &ldquo;The wrongdoers will not attain my covenant.&rdquo;<\/span><\/strong>(Al-Baqarah: 124).<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><strong><span style=\"color: #000099;\">There is no disagreement among scholars<\/span><\/strong>: He tested him with commands and prohibitions that he was assigned to carry out, so he carried them out in the best way, and carried them out in the best way, without negligence or negligence. hesitation For this reason, He made him an imam to be followed, bestowed constant praise for him in this world, bestowed prophethood on his descendants, and rewarded him abundantly in life. The afterlife.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><strong><span style=\"color: #000099;\">When he fulfilled that, He praised him by saying something<\/span><\/strong>:&#64831;<strong><span style=\"color: green;\">And Abraham who paid<\/span><\/strong>(An-Najm: 37)<span style=\"color: #800000;\">Yes<\/span>: He obeyed God in all of His commands and prohibitions, and fulfilled the laws of Islam that God imposed on him, and did not subtract anything from them.<a name=\"_ftnref12\" href=\"#_ftn12\" id=\"_ftnref12\">[12]<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><strong><span style=\"color: #000099;\">And from being afflicted with legal costs<\/span><\/strong>:<strong><span style=\"color: maroon;\">What did God afflict the companions of Goliath with when they went out to fight Goliath and his people?<\/span><\/strong>So he tested them by forbidding them to drink from the river &#8211; despite their extreme thirst and their need for water &#8211; and he did not give permission except for a room.<a name=\"_ftnref13\" href=\"#_ftn13\" id=\"_ftnref13\">[13]<\/a>; So that He may see their obedience and compliance with His prohibitions, so that the patient one who remains steadfast when fighting will be distinguished from others. God Almighty said:<strong><span style=\"color: green;\">When Talut separated with the soldiers, he said, &ldquo;Indeed, God will test you with a river, so whoever drinks from it is not from me, and whoever does not eat it is from me, except he who indulges.&rdquo; A scoop in his hand, and they drank from it except a few of them.<\/span><\/strong>(Al-Baqarah: 249)<a name=\"_ftnref14\" href=\"#_ftn14\" id=\"_ftnref14\">[14]<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><strong><span style=\"color: #000099;\">And so on<\/span><\/strong>:<strong><span style=\"color: maroon;\">What happened to the people of the village, the Children of Israel, to whom God forbade fishing on the Sabbath?<\/span><\/strong>; Because it is a great day for them, God forbade them from hunting on it. As a test and test for them, the whales used to multiply and appear during that day rather than during the rest of the days, as a test from God for them. So that it may be known that they complied with his prohibition and submitted to his obedience, but they violated the prohibition. So they cheated on fishing on the forbidden day, and were transformed into monkeys! Glory be to Him, He said:<strong><span style=\"color: green;\">And ask them about the town that was by the sea when they were transgressing on the Sabbath, when their whales came to them on their Sabbath according to law and on a day not. They sabbath, it will not come to them. Thus We will test them because they were defiantly disobedient.<\/span><\/strong>(Al-A&#8217;raf: 163)<a name=\"_ftnref15\" href=\"#_ftn15\" id=\"_ftnref15\">[15]<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><strong><span style=\"color: maroon;\">God Almighty tested the Companions, may God be pleased with them, with commands and prohibitions.<\/span><\/strong>; So that their compliance with God&rsquo;s command and their avoidance of His prohibitions may be demonstrated, and God&rsquo;s will may be fulfilled in them through that test.<strong><span style=\"color: #000099;\">And from that<\/span><\/strong>: God Almighty prescribed for the Prophet, may God bless him and grant him peace, to head &#8211; first &#8211; in prayer to the Holy House, and then divert him from it to The Kaaba, so he guided their hearts, and they responded to God&rsquo;s command, and they believed in the Messenger of God, may God bless him and grant him peace, and were certain that what he brought was It is true, and that God does what He wants, and rules what He wants, and He has the right to assign to His servants what He wants, and He has complete wisdom and proof. Al-Balighah, the Almighty said:<strong><span style=\"color: green;\">And We did not set the direction of direction that you were facing except that We might distinguish who would follow the Messenger from who would turn on his heels, even though it were a great burden, except for those who God has guided, and God would not waste your faith. Indeed, God is Kind and Merciful to people.<\/span><\/strong>(Al-Baqarah: 143)<a name=\"_ftnref16\" href=\"#_ftn16\" id=\"_ftnref16\">[16]<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><strong><span style=\"color: #000099;\">Examples of what was mentioned regarding the affliction and prohibition of this nation include:<\/span><\/strong>: God Almighty&rsquo;s saying:<strong><span style=\"color: green;\">O you who have believed, God will certainly test you with some game that your hands and your spears may attain, so that God may know who fears Him in the unseen. He commits aggression after that, for him is a painful punishment.<\/span><\/strong>(Al-Ma&rsquo;idah: 94). This verse was revealed during the Umrah of Al-Hudaybiyyah. Whereas God Almighty tested the believers with hunting while they were in a state of ihram, so He covered them up while they were traveling, so they were able to catch it by taking With their hands, and stabbed with their spears, but God forbade them from that; So that the obedience of those who obey among them may be apparent in secret and in public, and distinguished from the disobedience of the sinner.<a name=\"_ftnref17\" href=\"#_ftn17\" id=\"_ftnref17\">[17]<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><span style=\"color: #000080;\"><strong>The second sermon<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Praise be to God&#8230; O Muslims&#8230;<strong><span style=\"color: maroon;\">And about the wisdom of being afflicted with legal costs.<\/span><\/strong>Ibn al-Qayyim, may God have mercy on him, says: (<strong><span style=\"color: #000099;\">From the complete mercy of the Most Merciful<\/span><\/strong>: Inflicting various kinds of calamities on the servant; For He knows best what is best for him, so His testing and testing him and preventing him from many of his symptoms and desires is part of His mercy towards him, but The servant, due to his ignorance and injustice, accuses his Lord, and does not recognize His goodness toward Him by testing and testing Him&#8230;<strong><span style=\"color: #000099;\">And from His mercy, Glory be to Him, to His servants<\/span><\/strong>: He tests them with commands and prohibitions out of mercy and protection, without any need of them for what he commanded them to do, for He is the Rich, the Praiseworthy, and not stingy. He bequeathed to them what He forbade them from, for He is the Generous, the Generous.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><strong><span style=\"color: #000099;\">And from His mercy<\/span><\/strong>: That the world becomes burdensome and burdensome for them; So that they do not feel comfortable in it, nor feel confident in it, and desire the bliss that resides in His home and its neighbourhood, so He led them to that with lashes of trial. And the test, so He prevented them in order to give them to them, and He tested them in order to restore them, and He caused them to die in order to give them life.)<a name=\"_ftnref18\" href=\"#_ftn18\" id=\"_ftnref18\">[18]<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><strong><span style=\"color: maroon;\">And God Almighty has made for His faithful servants homes in Paradise with which He wanted to honor them, so He tested them with various and varied costs.<\/span><\/strong>; So that they may attain the highest stations and the highest degrees in the highest Paradise, and the matter did not stop at their reward; Rather, it went beyond that to raising their grades through testing. Ibn al-Qayyim, may God have mercy on him, said: (If it were not for this trial and test, the virtue of patience, contentment, trust, and jihad would not have emerged. And chastity, courage, forbearance, pardon and forgiveness, and God Almighty loves to honor His guardians with these perfections, and He loves It will appear to them, so that He and His angels may praise them, and that they will attain the utmost dignity, pleasure, and pleasure by being described by it.
