Backbiting is for harm and assault, as are gossiping and slander. As for believing false princes, it seems that the intention is to flatter them in their falsehood, while the appeaser knows of their lies. As for satanic news, it is the belief of the devils that is contrary to the truth in the truth of the matter, and God knows best, and what matters is the facts and meanings, not the words and premises.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><strong><span style=\"color: #006666;\">The predecessors warned against lying<\/span><\/strong><strong><span style=\"color: #006666;\">:<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Abdullah bin Omar, may God be pleased with him, attended the death, and he said: &ldquo;A man from Quraysh proposed to my daughter, and it was a promise from me to him, and I fear that I will cast God on a third of hypocrisy.&rdquo;<a href=\"#_ftn2\" name=\"_ftnref2\"><span style=\"color: green;\"><strong><span style=\"color: green;\">[2]<\/span><\/strong><\/span><\/a>&ldquo;I bear witness that I married him.&rdquo;<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Al-Ahnaf said: I have not lied since the day I converted to Islam except once. Rather, the predecessors were wary of it and scrutinized it. When Imam Ahmad met some of his companions, he said: How are your children? The man said: They kiss your hands. Imam Ahmed said: Do not lie.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Some of them forbade others from it, and one of them said to his son: O my son, beware of lying, for it is as evil as the flesh of a bird. Whoever eats any of it will not be patient with it. Another said: Whoever finds it permissible to breastfeed a lie, it will be difficult for him to wean him.<a href=\"#_ftn3\" name=\"_ftnref3\"><span style=\"color: green;\"><strong><span style=\"color: green;\">[3]<\/span><\/strong><\/span><\/a>.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">It is enough that lying is the slogan of hypocrites, the veil of cowards, and the brotherhood of disappointment.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">May God make us among those who remember Him, thank Him, and worship Him well. May God&rsquo;s blessings and peace be upon our Prophet Muhammad, his family, his companions, and those who follow them in goodness.<\/p>\n<div style=\"text-align: justify;\"> <\/p>\n<hr size=\"1\">\n<div>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><a href=\"#_ftnref1\" name=\"_ftn1\"><span style=\"color: green;\"><span style=\"color: green;\">[1]<\/span><\/span><\/a>As in the hadith narrated by Al-Tirmidhi (614) with an authentic chain of transmission on the authority of Ka&rsquo;b bin Ujrah, may God be pleased with him, he said: The Messenger of God, may God&rsquo;s prayers and peace be upon him, said: ((I seek refuge in you, O Ka&rsquo;b bin Ujrah, from the princes who will come after me. Whoever closes their doors, believes them in their lies, and helps them in their oppression, is not of me and I am not of him, and the Basin will not return to me.)) As for the hadith about believing soothsayers and fortune-tellers, it is his saying, peace and blessings be upon him: ((Whoever comes) If a fortune teller or soothsayer believes what he says, then he has disbelieved in what was revealed to Muhammad.)
