Praise be to God, Lord of the worlds. We praise Him for the blessings He has bestowed, and we ask Him for His complete bounty. We bear witness that there is no god but God alone with no partner, and we bear witness that Muhammad is His servant and Messenger, may God’s blessings and peace be upon him and his family and companions.<\/p>\n

Trusting in God is the spirit of worship, the fragrance of hearts, the believer’s weapon in times of distress, and the door of salvation in times of distress.<\/p>\n

Didn’t you hear the words of God Almighty?<\/span><\/p>\n ﴿And whoever relies on God, He is sufficient for him<\/span>(At-Talaq: 3) Meaning: He is sufficient for him, his hope will not be disappointed, and his hope will not be lost.<\/p>\n <\/p>\n The Prophet, may God bless him and grant him peace, said in describing the seventy thousand who will enter Paradise without being judged:<\/span><\/p>\n “They are the ones who do not seek enslavement, nor do they seek refuge, but put their trust in their Lord.”<\/span>(Narrated by Al-Bukhari and Muslim).<\/p>\n <\/p>\n They are people of sincere trust, who trust in God and rely on Him alone.<\/p>\n <\/p>\n My beloved ones… Trust is not dependence, nor laziness, nor isolation from life.<\/p>\n It is taking the causes with complete authority to the Causer, Almighty.<\/p>\n <\/p>\n The Prophet, may God bless him and grant him peace, said:“If you had put your trust in God as you should, He would have provided for you just as He provides for birds. “You become exhausted and go exhausted.”<\/span>(Narrated by Ahmad and Al-Tirmidhi, and authenticated by Al-Albani).<\/p>\n <\/p>\n The bird strives, moves, and makes efforts, but it does not carry the burden of sustenance, nor does it store food. Its trust in its Lord is stronger than its wings.<\/p>\n <\/p>\n Consider… The Prophet, may God’s prayers and peace be upon him – who is the master of those who rely on him – did not throw down the sword and sit down, but rather put on armor in Uhud, hid the plan for migration, hired a guide, and tied his camel on the day of migration, then he said:“Mind it and trust.”<\/span><\/p>\n This is the meaning of Ibn al-Qayyim’s statement:<\/span><\/p>\n “Reject the reasons from your heart, but cling to them with your limbs… Be with the reason, but with your heart with God.”<\/p>\n <\/p>\n O people of faith… look at the Companions, may God be pleased with them, when it was said to them: ﴿People have gathered for you<\/span>([Al Imran: 173]… What was their response?<\/p>\n <\/p>\n ﴿And they said, “Allah is sufficient for us, and He is the best disposer of affairs.”<\/span>﴿ [Al Imran: 173] The result was: ﴾So they turned around by God’s grace and bounty, and no harm touched them.<\/span>(Al Imran: 174).<\/p>\n <\/p>\n Ibn Katheer said: “When they put their trust in God, whatever troubled them was sufficient for them, and the punishment of those who wanted to plot against them was warded off from them.”<\/p>\n <\/p>\n Whoever wants victory, let him trust, whoever wants sustenance, let him trust, and whoever wants wellness and relief, let him trust, for God loves those who trust.<\/p>\n <\/p>\n When Abraham, peace be upon him, left his people to a land with no crops or udders, and left his wife Hagar and his son Ismail at the Kaaba, I asked him: “Has God commanded you to do this?” He said: Yes.<\/p>\n <\/p>\n She said with a tongue of trust: “Then God will not let us go.” So God made for them from the Well of Zamzam a life to this day, from Ishmael a Muhammadan nation, and from Hagar a story to be told in the Hajj until the Day of Judgment.<\/p>\n <\/p>\n On the authority of Abu Hurairah, may God be pleased with him, on the authority of the Messenger of God – may God bless him and grant him peace -: He mentioned a man from the Children of Israel who asked some of the Children of Israel to advance (lend) him a thousand dinars, and he said: Bring me the martyrs so that I may bear them witness. He said: God is sufficient as a witness. He said: Bring me a guarantor. He said: God is sufficient as a guarantor. He said: You have told the truth, so he gave it to him for a specified period, so he went out into the sea and fulfilled his need, then he looked for a boat to board and come to him for the time he had set, but he did not find a boat, so he took a piece of wood, tapped it, and put in it a thousand dinars and a sheet of paper from him to its owner, then he sealed its place. Then he brought it to the sea and said: “Oh God, you know that I had borrowed so-and-so a thousand dinars, and he asked me for a guarantor, so I said: God is sufficient as a guarantor, so he was satisfied with you, and he asked me for a witness, so I said: God is sufficient as a witness, and he was satisfied with you. And I tried hard to find a boat to send what was his to him, but I was not able. And I deposited it, so he threw it into the sea until I entered it, then he left, and in that, he was looking for a boat to go out to his country. So the man whose predecessor was looking went out to see if a boat might have brought his money. He found the piece of wood that contained the money, so he took it as firewood for his family. When he spread it, he found the money and the newspaper.<\/p>\n <\/p>\n Then the one who was his predecessor came and brought the thousand dinars. He said: By God, I was still trying hard to look for a boat to bring you your money, but I did not find a boat before the one I came on. He said: Did you send me anything? He said: I tell you that I did not find a boat before the one I came on. He said: “For God has paid on your behalf the one for whom you sent the wood, and he has departed with the thousand dinars, guided.” [Al-Bukhari – Al-Fath 4 (2291)].<\/p>\n <\/p>\n Oh God, make us among those who trust in You in every situation, fill our hearts with trust in You, grant us good faith in You, forgive us our weakness, and strengthen us in You. Oh God, be our guardian and helper, and forgive us, our parents, and all Muslims.<\/p>\n <\/p>\n May God bless and grant peace to your servant and Messenger Muhammad, and to all his family and companions.<\/p>\n Praise be to God, Lord of the worlds.<\/p>\n <\/span><\/div>\n
