First sermon<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n Praise be to God who made constellations in the sky, and placed therein a lamp and a shining moon, and who made night and day a succession for whoever wanted to remember or wanted to be thankful.<\/p>\n <\/p>\n I bear witness that there is no god but God alone, my Lord, with no partner, a testimony under which we live, for which we live, and for which we meet God, Blessed and Most High.<\/p>\n <\/p>\n The sun and the full moon are the lights of His wisdom, the land and the sea are the abundance of His gifts, the birds glorified Him, the beast glorified Him, the waves magnified Him, the whale saved Him, the ants under the solid rocks sanctified Him, the bees shouted praise from their hives, the people disobeyed Him openly and He covered them, and the servant forgets Him, and my Lord will not forget Him.<\/p>\n <\/p>\n I bear witness that Muhammad is His servant and Messenger, the purest of His creation and His friend. He reached darkness with his perfection and illuminated the universe with his beauty. All his qualities were perfect. Bless him and his family.<\/p>\n <\/p>\n O God, bless and bless Your servant and Messenger, the illiterate Prophet, and his family and companions, and grant them abundant peace until the Day of Judgment.<\/p>\n <\/p>\n ﴿O you who have believed, fear God as He should be feared, and do not die except as Muslims.<\/span>(Al Imran: 102).<\/p>\n <\/p>\n ﴿O people, fear your Lord and fear a day when no father will recompense for his child, nor will a child recompense anything for his father. Indeed, it is God’s promise. It is true, so do not be deceived by the life of this world, nor let deceit deceive you about God.<\/span>(Luqman: 33)As for what follows:<\/span><\/p>\n The most truthful speech is the word of God, and the best guidance is the guidance of Muhammad, may God bless him and grant him peace, and the worst of matters are newly invented matters, and every newly invented matter is an innovation, and every innovation in religion is a misguidance. May God protect me and you from innovations and misguidance. Amen, O God, Amen.As for what follows:<\/span><\/p>\n O beloved ones, honorable in God, today we are talking about winds and winds. The wind is a mercy from the Mighty, the Forgiving, or displeasure from the Mighty, the Mighty. The wind either comes as a good wind, or it comes as a harmful wind, and God Almighty has made it clear and said:We do not send signs except as a means of intimidation.<\/span>(Al-Isra: 59).<\/p>\n <\/p>\n So let us live with these universal verses in order to know the greatness of the Creator, glory be to Him, and to review our accounts with God Almighty, and to strengthen our connection with God Almighty.<\/p>\n <\/p>\n The wind is one of God’s soldiers. God Almighty empowers it over whomever He wishes of His servants. Man is warned against disobeying God’s command. Because God has threatened those who disobey His command, saying:So let those who disobey his command beware, lest a trial befall them or a painful punishment befall them.<\/span>(Al-Nour: 63).<\/p>\n <\/p>\n So the people of Aad, and how do you know what the people of Aad are?<\/span><\/p>\n They said:Who is stronger than us?<\/span>﴿ [Fussilat: 15], as God said in Surah Fussilat: ﴿As for Aad, they were arrogant in the land unjustly and said, “Who is stronger than us in strength? Have they not seen that God who created them is stronger than them?” strength, but they denied Our signs.<\/span>﴾ [Fussilat: 15].<\/p>\n <\/p>\n What was the result?<\/span><\/p>\n As God said in Surat Al-Dhariyat:And in Ad, when We sent upon them the destructive wind.<\/span>*<\/span>She does not leave anything that she has acquired except that she makes it like rubble.<\/span>(Al-Dhariyat: 41-42).<\/p>\n <\/p>\n And God Almighty said in Surah Al-Haqqa:As for Aad, they were destroyed by a strong roaring wind.<\/span>*<\/span>He subjected it to them for seven nights and eight days, and you will see the people lying therein as if they were the trunks of empty palm trees.<\/span>*<\/span>Do you see any remaining of them?<\/span>(Al-Haqqah: 6-8).<\/p>\n <\/p>\n Look at the punishment for those who disobey God’s command.<\/p>\n <\/p>\n This is why believers and righteous people fear God Almighty. God Almighty said:And likewise is the seizing of your Lord, when He seizes the towns while they are unjust. Indeed, His seizing is very painful.<\/span>([Hud: 102], and he said after that:)Indeed, in that is a sign for whoever fears the punishment of the Hereafter. That is a day for which the people will be gathered together, and that is a day witnessed.<\/span>﴾ [Hud: 103].<\/p>\n <\/p>\n Winds and winds are signs of God; Let us consider and learn; This is why the Prophet, may God’s prayers and peace be upon him, as our mother Aisha, may God be pleased with her, said: “If it was a windy or cloudy day, this would be known on his face, may God’s prayers and peace be upon him, and he would turn and turn away, and when it rained it would be hidden from him.”<\/p>\n <\/p>\n Aisha, may God be pleased with her, said: So I asked him about that, and he, may God’s prayers and peace be upon him, said: “And what will guarantee me that there will be torment in it?” A people were tormented by the wind, and some people saw the torment and said: This is a rainstorm for us.” agreed.<\/p>\n <\/p>\n So he, may God’s prayers and peace be upon him, was afraid that when the wind, clouds, and dust came, it would be a torment for his nation, and his face, may God’s prayers and peace be upon him, would change.<\/p>\n <\/p>\n In the authentic hadith narrated by Muslim, when the wind blew, he said: “O God, I ask You for its good, the good of what is in it, and the good of what it was sent with, and I seek refuge in You from its evil, the evil of what is in it, and the evil of what it was sent with.” Narrated by Muslim.<\/p>\n <\/p>\n We pray with this supplication – my brothers – for God Almighty to spare us from temptations, trials and tribulations, and for us to return to God sincerely.<\/p>\n <\/p>\n Likewise, the wind is one of God’s soldiers.<\/p>\n <\/p>\n When rain or rain came, the Prophet, may God bless him and grant him peace, was afraid. Because the people of Aad before him, when they saw the clouds and the winds, rejoiced and rejoiced. God Almighty said:When they saw it spreading towards their valleys, they said, “This is our rainy force.” Rather, it is what you hastened with, a wind in which is a painful punishment.<\/span>*<\/span>It will destroy everything by the command of its Lord, so that no one can see except their dwellings. Thus do We recompense the criminal people.<\/span>(Al-Ahqaf: 24-25).<\/p>\n <\/p>\n Likewise, the wind is one of God’s soldiers, with which He grants victory to whomever He wishes of His servants.<\/p>\n <\/p>\n God Almighty gave victory to His Prophet, may God bless him and grant him peace, in the Battle of the Ahzabs, and you know the Battle of the Ahzabs, when the hearts reached the throats of the Companions of the Messenger of God, may God bless him and grant him peace, and they harbored suspicions about God due to the severity of the trial.<\/p>\n <\/p>\n Very cold nights, extreme hunger, they had nothing, and the companions of the Messenger of God, may God bless him and grant him peace, were digging a trench, and in his stomach, may God bless him and grant him peace, were two stones due to extreme hunger.<\/p>\n <\/p>\n And in those extremely cold nights, God Almighty sends soldiers from Himself, God Almighty said:O you who have believed, remember the blessing of God upon you when armies came to you, and We sent upon them a wind and armies which you had not seen. And God was You act insightful<\/span>(Al-Ahzab: 9), then God Almighty said:When they came to you from above you and from below you, and when the eyes became deviated and the hearts reached the throats, and you entertained suspicions about God.<\/span>*<\/span>There the believers were tested and suffered a severe earthquake.<\/span>(Al-Ahzab: 10-11).<\/p>\n <\/p>\n Due to the severity of the trials, hypocrites appeared. God said about them:And when the hypocrites and those in whose hearts is a disease said, “Allah and His Messenger promised us nothing but deception.”<\/span>*<\/span>And when a group of them said, “O people of Yathrib, there is no place for you, so return.”<\/span>(Al-Ahzab: 12-13).<\/p>\n <\/p>\n When victory came from God, God gave good news to the steadfast believers, saying:And when the believers saw the parties, they said, “This is what God and His Messenger promised us.” And God and His Messenger spoke the truth, and it only increased them in faith and submission.<\/span>(Al-Ahzab: 22) For this reason, God gave victory to the believers and sufficed them with fighting with a wind that He sent against the polytheists, which extinguished their fires, took down their tents, and dispersed their crowd.<\/p>\n <\/p>\n The wind is one of God’s soldiers. If He wants something, He says to it: Be, and it is.<\/p>\n <\/p>\n But we strengthen our connection with God, and return to Him sincerely, and all matters are in His hand, may He be glorified and exalted.<\/p>\n <\/p>\n Just as the wind is torment, it is also mercy. God Almighty said:And for Solomon the wind was a whirlwind that ran at his command into the land which We had blessed and had knowledge of all things.<\/span>([Al-Anbiya’: 81], for the wind – my brothers – had it not been for the ships, the ships would not have moved, and they would have stopped at sea. God Almighty said:)Among His signs are the seas like flags.<\/span>*<\/span>If He wills, He can calm the wind, and they will remain in a row upon His back.<\/span>(Al-Shura: 32-33).<\/p>\n <\/p>\n Indeed, in this there are signs for every patient and grateful person.<\/p>\n I say this and ask God for forgiveness for me and for you……<\/p>\n <\/p>\n The second sermon<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n Praise be to God for His benevolence, and thanks to Him for His success and gratitude. I bear witness that there is no god but God alone, with no partner, out of great respect for Him. I bear witness that Muhammad is His servant and Messenger who calls for His pleasure. May God’s blessings and peace be upon him and his family and companions and grant them abundant peace until the Day of Judgment.As for what follows:<\/span><\/p>\n Brothers of faith, let us beware of the violation into which some people unfortunately fall, which is their saying: These winds, this dust, and these volatile atmospheres are natural effects, and have nothing to do with sins and transgressions, etc.<\/p>\n <\/p>\n They say: These are natural disasters and are caused by things that scientists, astronomers and others, know, and they have nothing to do with people’s sins and transgressions.<\/p>\n <\/p>\n Many scholars respond to them, including Sheikh Muhammad bin Saleh Al-Uthaymeen, may God have mercy on him, and they are told: Yes, we do not disagree that these phenomena have specific causes and known matters, but who created these causes? Who created these Sunnahs? Isn’t he God Almighty? If God is the one who created the causes, then He, Glory be to Him, is able to change them if people return to Him and repent and turn to Him. Didn’t God Almighty say:So We took each one of them for his sin, and among them was he against whom We sent a reaper, and among them was he whom the cry took, and among them was he whom We caused the earth to swallow. And among them were those whom We drowned, and God would not have wronged them, but it was they who had wronged themselves.<\/span>﴾ [Al-Ankabut: 40]; That is why the Prophet, may God’s prayers and peace be upon him, would approach and turn away if he saw wind or clouds, as in the hadith of Aisha, may God be pleased with her, and he said: “I feared that it would be a torment imposed upon my nation.” Narrated by Muslim.<\/p>\n <\/p>\n This was out of fear of God Almighty, and out of consideration for His laws regarding His creation.<\/p>\n <\/p>\n Likewise, a Muslim should not curse the wind, as some people, if the dust or harm becomes severe, begin to curse and curse without realizing it.<\/p>\n <\/p>\n The Prophet, may God’s prayers and peace be upon him, said: “Do not curse the wind. If you see something that you hate, say: Oh God, we ask you for the good of this wind, the good of what is in it, and the good of what you have been commanded to do, and we seek refuge in You from the evil of this wind, the evil of what is in it, and the evil of what you have been commanded to do.” Narrated by Al-Tirmidhi, and authenticated by Al-Albani.<\/p>\n <\/p>\n We pray this prayer, brothers, and make these winds a reason to return to God, repent to Him, and turn to Him before Him.<\/p>\n <\/p>\n We ask God Almighty to guide us and you to what He loves and is pleased with, and to make us and you among those who listen to what is said and follow the best of it.<\/p>\n <\/p>\n Oh God, reform us and reform the young Muslims. Oh God, reform us and reform the Muslim women. Oh God, reform us and reform the Muslim girls. Oh God, return us to you in a beautiful way. Oh God, return us to you in a beautiful way. Oh God, do not hold us accountable for our sins. Oh God, do not hold us accountable for what the foolish among us did. Oh God, give our souls piety and purify them. You are better than those who purify them.<\/p>\n <\/p>\n Oh God, forgive and have mercy on everyone who attended this Friday and his parents. Oh God, forgive and have mercy on everyone who attended this Friday and his parents, and open his heart and ears to the preaching, O Lord of the Worlds.<\/p>\n <\/p>\n Oh God, do not let these faces that perform ablution leave this mosque except with a forgiven sin, a thanked effort, and an acceptable deed, and grant us and those present and the listeners, male and female, relief from every anxiety, a way out from every distress, ease from every sadness, and wellness from every affliction.<\/p>\n <\/p>\n Oh God, O Most Merciful, O Most Merciful, O Generous, O Benevolent, bless our weak, oppressed and persecuted brothers everywhere. O God, grant them security, faith, safety and Islam. O God, they are hungry, so feed them. O God, they are naked, so give them relief. O God, they are oppressed, so give them victory.<\/p>\n <\/p>\n O God, O Mighty, O Mighty, O Powerful, O Conqueror, O God, protect against those conspiring against Islam and the Muslims day and night, O God, do not achieve a goal for them in Muslim countries, O God, do not raise a banner for them, and make them for those behind them an example and a sign, O You who are capable of all things.<\/p>\n <\/p>\n Oh God, make this country safe, secure, prosperous and generous, and all other Muslim countries. Whoever wants us, wants our country, wants our religion, or wants Islam and the Muslims badly, O God, make him busy with himself, and make his plans to destroy it, and return his plot to his slaughter, O You who are capable of all things.<\/p>\n <\/p>\n ﴿Our Lord, we have wronged ourselves, and if You do not forgive us and have mercy on us, we will certainly be among the losers.<\/span>(Al-A`raf: 23).<\/p>\n <\/p>\n ﴿Our Lord, do not let our hearts deviate after You have guided us. Grant us mercy from You. Indeed, You are the Giver.<\/span>(Al Imran: 8).<\/p>\n <\/p>\n ﴿Our Lord, accept from us, for You are the Hearing, the All-Knowing<\/span>*<\/span>And accept our repentance, for You are the Forgiving, the Merciful.<\/span>(Al-Baqarah: 127-128).<\/p>\n <\/p>\n Servants of God, pray and greet the Messenger as a mercy to the worlds, as God has commanded you, saying:Indeed, God and His angels bless the Prophet. O you who have believed, bless him and grant him peace.<\/span>(Al-Ahzab: 56).<\/p>\n <\/p>\n O God, bless and bless Your servant and Messenger, the unlettered Prophet, and his family and companions, and grant abundant peace until the Day of Judgment.<\/p>\n <\/p>\n And pray.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n
