Stressful situations in which excessive remorse occurs
Praise be to God, Lord of the worlds. Praise be to God for His benevolence, and thanks to Him for His success and gratitude. I bear witness that there is no god but God alone, my Lord, with no partner, out of great respect for Him. I bear witness that Muhammad is His servant and Messenger who calls for His pleasure. May God’s blessings and peace be upon him and his family, companions, and brothers, and grant them abundant peace until the Day of Judgment.
﴿O you who have believed, fear God as He should be feared, and do not die except as Muslims.(Al Imran: 102).
﴿O people, fear your Lord who created you from one soul and created from it its mate and dispersed from them many men and women, and fear Allah who By him you will question the relatives. Indeed, God has been a watcher over you.(An-Nisa: 1)As for what follows:
The most truthful speech is the word of God, and the best guidance is the guidance of Muhammad, may God bless him and grant him peace, and the worst of matters are newly invented matters, and every newly invented matter is an innovation, and every innovation in religion is a misguidance. May God protect me and you from innovations and misguidance. Amen, O God, Amen.As for what follows:
O dear beloved ones in God,Al-Bukhari narrated in his Sahih from the hadith of Abdullah bin Abbas, may God be pleased with them both, that the Prophet, may God’s prayers and peace be upon him, said: “There are two blessings of which many people are neglected: health and free time.” Narrated by Al-Bukhari.
Iniquity is loss, and many people are wronged about them: health and free time. Whoever has health and well-being and free time and does not take advantage of these two blessings in the matters of the hereafter and in the affairs of this world is wronged, especially in the matters of the hereafter.
For this reason, brothers of faith, we are in dire need to exploit our lives in what pleases God, to make it a farm for the afterlife so that we can be happy on that day. Because whoever wastes this world and wastes it disobeying God and being negligent will regret regret after regret, and regret after regret from the time God takes his death until he enters, God forbid, Hell, while he is in regret after regret. Because he wasted his life disobeying God.
Brothers of faith, difficult situations in which those who go to extremes regret it, difficult situations in which those who go to extremes regret it with regret after regret.
Let us live with the Qur’an, and the Qur’an depicts for us the condition of a person who wasted his life disobeying God, the condition of the immoral person, the condition of the infidel, and the condition of the criminal.
Let us walk step by step and live with the Qur’an and with the Sunnah of the Chosen Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, step by step after a person dies while going through several stages of regret.
The first situation and the first form of regret on the Day of Resurrection and the difficult situations that an excessive person goes through: the first resurrection.
The first resurrection is death. Whoever dies, his resurrection occurs.
God Almighty says:No, if it reaches the throat*It was said that he is a gentleman*He thought it was separation*The leg was wrapped around the leg*To your Lord on that day is the path(Resurrection: 26-30).
In those moments, a person remembers that he wasted a lot of time. He remembers the person who openly committed sins and transgressions to God and who was arrogant in this life and was arrogant towards criminals and unbelievers. In those moments, he remembers those oversights and those misfortunes that he committed in this life, and he wishes to return to this world, but far from it, far from it.
God Almighty said:Until, when death came to one of them, he said, “My Lord, bring me back.”*Perhaps I will do righteousness in what I have left behind. No, it is a word that he spoke. And behind them is an isthmus until the Day they will be resurrected.(Al-Mu’minun: 99-100).
It is one of the situations that a sinful, negligent, criminal, or infidel person passes throughAmong the situations and forms of regret on the Day of Resurrection, brothers of faith: when biting hands.
He bites the first finger out of intense remorse, but it does not work. He bites the second finger out of intense remorse, but it does not help. He bites the third finger, so he bites all his fingers. Because he sat with bad people in this world.
He remembers that he sat with bad companions who kept him away from the houses of God, from the mosques, from obedience to parents, from family ties, from obedience to God.
He wishes to return to this world to sit with the righteous who remind him of God, Lord of the worlds, but far from, very far, so God Almighty says:And the day the oppressor bites his hands, he will say, “I wish I had taken a path with the Messenger.”*Oh, my woe, I wish I had not taken so-and-so as a friend!*Indeed, He led me astray from the Reminder after it had come to me, and Satan is a deceiver of man.(Al-Furqan: 27-29).
Among the forms of regret, brothers of faith: When deeds are presented, when newspapers fly, a person does not know whether he will take his book with his right or left.
In those moments, the criminal who wasted his life in disobeying God, in killing the soul that God forbade, and who wasted his life in eating the money of orphans, in consuming usury, in injustice, and so on, reads his book and sees it full of bad deeds, full of sins and transgressions, so he wishes to return to this world to do good deeds, then he regrets and is sad, but regret is of no use. God Almighty said:And the book was placed, and you saw the criminals appalled at what was in it, and they said, “Woe to us, what is the matter with this book? It does not leave out anything small or great without recording it.” And they find what they did present, and your Lord does not wrong anyone.(Al-Kahf: 49), and God Almighty said:Whoever does an atom’s weight of good will see it.*And whoever does an atom’s weight of evil will see it(Al-Zalzalah: 7-8) That is why God Almighty says:And We set just balances for the Day of Resurrection, so no soul will be wronged at all, even if it were the weight of a mustard seed. We will bring it, and it is sufficient for us as reckoners.(Al-Anbiya’: 47).
Everything small and large is covered, everything small and large, good deeds and bad deeds, everything small and large is written, words, actions, intentions, beliefs, everything is written, and man will be asked about everything.The day God will resurrect them all and inform them of what they did. God has counted it and they have forgotten it, and God is Witness of all things.(Al-Mujadila: 6).
From these images and from those images and remorse for the people of immorality and sin: when Hell comes.
Notice: death, then the horrors of resurrection, the biting of hands, and the display of deeds, and then also the coming of hell.
Hell exhales, Hell has eyes that see, as in the authentic hadith about him, peace and blessings be upon him, and it has a tongue that speaks. God said:If she saw them from a far away place, they would hear her shouting and growling.(Al-Furqan: 12).
And he, peace and blessings be upon him, said in the authentic hadith: “Hell will be brought on the Day of Resurrection with seventy thousand reins, and with each rein will be seventy thousand angels pulling it.” (Narrated by Muslim, No. 2842).
You want to devour the infidel, to take him. If she saw him from a far away place, they would hear her irritation and hissing, and God Almighty said:And when they are thrown from it into a narrow place, tied together, there they will call for destruction.([Al-Furqan: 13], and God Almighty said:)It is almost distinct from the rage whenever a group is thrown into it, asking its keepers: Has there not come to you a warner?*They said, “Yes, a warner has come to us, but we denied it.”(Al-Mulk: 8-9).
When Hell comes, in those moments the transgressor is reminded, and in those moments the criminals who transgressed on earth, in those moments they remember everything they did in this life, so they wish that God would return them to this world to do good deeds, but far from it, far from it. God said in a surah that we all memorize:And on that day Hell will be brought. On that day man will remember. How can he remember?*He says, I wish I had given my life(Al-Fajr: 23-24).
Real life is the afterlife, not this world.
He did not say – notice the verse -: I wish I had progressed in my life. He said:I wish I had given my life﴾, not: in my life. Real life is the afterlife. Oh, I wish you had come to my life,On that day, no one will be punished by his punishment.*No one can trust him(Al-Fajr: 25-26).
May God bless you and me with the Great Qur’an, and may God benefit me and you with the verses and wise remembrance it contains.
I say this and ask forgiveness from God Almighty for me and for you, so ask forgiveness from Him, for I am the victory of those who seek forgiveness.
The second sermon
Praise be to God alone, and prayers and peace be upon the one after whom there is no prophet. As for what follows:
Brothers of faith, one of the difficult situations in which extremists regret after the coming of Hell is when they stand at the gate of Hell before they enter it.
When they stand at the gates of Hell, they hear its heat, and they hear people being tortured, and the horrors, calamities, and calamities.
In those moments, as he stood at the gate of hell, that criminal, oppressor, and immoral person, he wished to return to this world.
Regret after regret, heartbreak after heartbreak.
This is why, brothers in faith, we should be careful. God Almighty says in Surah Al-An’am:And if you had seen, when they stood over the Fire and said, “Oh, we wish we could be returned and not deny the signs of our Lord and be among the believers.”*Rather, what they were concealing before has become apparent to them. And if they were rejected, they would certainly go back to what they were forbidden, and indeed they are liars.(Al-An’am: 27-28).
The last image of regret and heartbreak on the Day of Resurrection, brothers of faith: upon entering Hell.
Imagine, as in the authentic hadith about him, peace and blessings be upon him, that he was sitting with his companions, when the companions and the Prophet with them heard something falling on the ground, and he, peace and blessings be upon him, said: “Do you know what this is?” They said: God and His Messenger know best. He said: “This is a stone that was thrown into Hell seventy years ago, and it is now falling into Hell until it reaches its bottom.” Narrated by Muslim.
Imagine with me, a stone falling into Hell, descending after descending, not ascending, and after seventy years it reaches its bottom.
Imagine the infidel, God forbid, and the criminal when he is thrown into Hell and after seventy years reaches its bottom.
What do the brothers of faith reach?
We ask God for safety.
He prays on his face, God forbid. God Almighty said:On the day their faces are turned into the Fire, they will say: “I wish we had obeyed God and obeyed the Messenger.”(Al-Ahzab: 66), and God Almighty said:Indeed, criminals are astray and mad*On the day they will be dragged into the Fire on their faces, taste the touch of Saqr.(Al-Qamar: 47-48).
This face that refused to prostrate to God, this face that God honored and portrayed in the best image, so it refused to thank God and refused to prostrate to God.
On the Day of Resurrection, this face will be disgraced, humiliated, and despised. God Almighty said:Criminals are known by their marks, so they are taken by their forelocks and toes.*So which of the favors of your Lord will you deny?*This is Hell which the criminals deny.*They roam between it and Hamim at the same time(Al-Rahman: 41-44).
God is God, brothers in faith.
This world is fleeting, and it is only a few days. If we make use of it in obedience to God, in what pleases God, in doing good with God, and in doing good with people, the first of whom is parents, with relatives, with family, and with children, we will make the brothers of faith happy, we will rest in our graves, and we will be happy in the afterlife.
And if we waste this world, which when its people were asked:How many years did you stay on earth?*They said, “We stayed a day or part of a day.”(Al-Mu’minun: 112-113).
If a person wastes this day or part of a day in disobeying God, he will deeply regret it on the Day of Resurrection.
If a Muslim takes advantage of this day or part of a day to please God, he will be happily ever after, and this happiness will never end.
We ask God Almighty to help us and you to do what He loves and is pleased with. We ask God Almighty to make us and you among those who listen to what is said and follow the best of it.
Oh God, fix us and fix the Muslim youth.
Oh God, fix us and fix Muslim women.
Oh God, fix us and fix the Muslim girls.
Oh God, return us to you in a beautiful way.
Oh God, return us to you in a beautiful way.
Oh God, do not leave these faces performing ablution from this mosque except with a forgiven sin, a thanked effort, and an acceptable deed.
Grant for us and those present, male and female, listeners, male and female, and Muslim men and women, a relief from every worry, a way out from every distress, ease from every hardship, and wellness from every affliction, O Most Generous of the Generous and O Most Merciful of the Merciful.
Whoever among us is worried, O God, relieve his anxiety.
And whoever among us is distressed, O God, remove his distress.
Whoever among us is sick or has a sick person, heal him and his sick person.
Whoever among us has had a relative die, O God, have mercy on our dead as the righteous have mercy.
Oh God, make them dwell in gardens under which rivers flow.
Oh God, O Most Merciful, O Most Merciful, O Generous, O Benevolent, grant our oppressed, oppressed, and persecuted brothers everywhere security, faith, safety, and Islam.
Oh God, protect your enemies, the enemies of religion, from the Jews, Christians, and hypocrites.
Oh God, protect your enemies, the enemies of religion, from the Jews, Christians, and hypocrites.
Oh God, show us in them the wonders of your ability, O You who are capable of all things.
Oh God, make this country safe, secure, prosperous and generous, and all other Muslim countries.
Whoever wants our country, our religion, or Islam and the Muslims to do evil, O God, make him busy with himself, and make his plans to destroy it, and turn his plots back to his slaughter.
﴿Our Lord, we have wronged ourselves, and if You do not forgive us and have mercy on us, we will certainly be among the losers.(Al-A`raf: 23).
Servants of God, may your blessings and peace be upon the Messenger as a mercy to the worlds, wherever God has commanded you, saying:Indeed, God and His angels bless the Prophet. O you who have believed, bless him and grant him peace.(Al-Ahzab: 56).
Servants of God,Indeed, God commands justice, charity, and giving to relatives, and forbids indecency, abomination, and transgression. He exhorts you, so that you may remember.(Al-Nahl: 90).
So remember God, the Great and Majestic, and He will remember you, and thank Him for His blessings and He will increase you. Thank Him for His blessings and He will increase you. Thank Him for His blessings and He will increase you. And remembering God is greater, and God knows what you do, and establish prayer.
